There is a fantastic Spa pool set in a quiet neighbourhood with nice views down to Christchurch. There is plenty of space to spread out.

This is not a property I would recommend to anyone. It looked nothing like the photos - the property was very unkempt with rubbish strewn about, cigarette butts everywhere, and very run down with old amenities that barely worked. The ad is extremely deceptive and I can honestly say it's the sort of establishment they should be paying US to stay in. Absolutely putrid. When we arrived, the husband and wife hosts were arguing loudly about an affair, which was embarassing to have to witness and very inappropriate. The male host acted belligerent and hostile towards us - he smelled strongly of liquor so I believe he was drunk at 3 in the afternoon which is not a good look, and again, unprofessional and downright unsafe as a host. The couple also had an aggressive dog which lunged at mine. I have made reports to the council of their dangerous dog, but worried for other visitors in future who may be fooled by their deceptive advertisements and lured into their frankly revolting "home". All I can say to the hosts is please think about trying to take some pride in your property, have tidy up of all the rubbish, and think a little more about how others may perceive you as your actions were extremely unbecoming and uncouth and your filthy home and messy gardens reflect poorly on your character. I do not think these people are fit to run accommodations so let this be a warning to those who may be thinking of booking this space not to waste their money.
