Handsome B&B in a peaceful residential area of Christchurch. Our room and bathroom were spacious and nicely decorated . We had access to a terrace and beautiful garden . Our hosts were lovely and we enjoyed a lot discussing together . This is a real must stay in Christchurch.

Absolutely wonderful stay

We truly had a wonderful stay thanks to the kindness and hospitality of our hosts. My husband’s parents and I travelled from Auckland to Christchurch, but due to a flight delay we arrived much later than expected. We had to order UberEats for dinner, and our host went above and beyond by lending us bowls and plates — and even helping us wash them afterward, even though it was not something he was required to do. We are genuinely grateful for his thoughtfulness. Both hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to chat with us whenever they had the chance. The next morning, we woke up to a beautifully prepared breakfast with bread, muesli, yogurt, milk, orange juice, and jams, all enjoyed with a lovely view from the window. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality. We wish both of you good health, happiness, and all the best always.

Ping and John's house is lovely, with spacious rooms and a beautiful garden. The two hosts are incredibly welcoming; they love to chat, share, and are very considerate of their guests' feelings. And a special shout-out to their dog, Lucy! She's so adorable and well-behaved. The house is very close to the airport, making it perfect for travelers starting or ending their South Island journey in Christchurch.

Staying with Peng and John was the best possible way we could have started our trip in New Zealand. Staying with them was like staying with an old family friend. They were so incredibly kind and welcoming. John even spent the evening helping us map out our trip to both islands. They were both outstanding hosts and we hope to stay with them again in the future!

Our hosts John and Ping went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Nothing was too much trouble and they anticipated anything we might need. Their beautiful home and gardens were a joy to be in. Thank you both.

This little B&B is a little gem. John and Ping were exceptionally hospitable from arrival to departure. They were helpful with information relating to meals and airport transport and both got up at a very early hour to give us a delightful continental breakfast and say goodbye the morning we left.

The rooms were clean and well equipped, and the breakfast was very good too. We truly enjoyed our stay and talking with the lovely hosts. John and Ping also gave us some tips of what places to visit which we were very grateful for.
