I always enjoy staying here. It’s a little far from the CBD, but nearby some great restaurants and it’s such a fun and funky spot I’ll take the slight distance any day. It’s bright, clean and tidy and the cats are friendly. An amazing price for a private room

Nice free paeking right in front of the hostel. The 4 bed female dorm was nice and private. The staff was really really nice. Everybody was so welcoming and gave good advices as well. 😊👍

Recently stayed here while over in Christchurch and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was friendly, relaxed and very welcoming. Even though the rooms are compact original jail cells, the high ceilings made them feel comfortable and we both slept extremely well. Everything was spotless, including the shared bathrooms and kitchen areas, and the electronic keypad access made the place feel very secure. There were plenty of comfortable areas to relax, and the whole place has an amazing mix of history and character while still feeling modern and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and honestly preferred it over a standard motel. A really memorable experience.
