Built over a century ago, Dyers House is a refurbished property with a rich Edwardian heritage. Just 10 minutes’ drive from Christchurch town centre, it features panoramic views of the city, Southern Alps and the sea. Free on-site parking and free WiFi access are provided. The cosy guest rooms feature fine quality bed linens, tea/coffee making facilities and a flat-screen TV. The en suite bathroom offers plush towels and high quality toiletries. Dyers House is one of Christchurch's best kept secrets. Luxurious rooms and lounge, fabulous views of the city and mountains beyond, pretty garden, a short walk to good restaurants and close to town. Hosts Barry and Angie were extremely helpful and made us feel very much at home. And a fabulous breakfast to make it really stand out.

Wow, where do I even begin? The hosts, Angie and Maz and Eric, the cat, were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were absolutely spotless and so comfortable—it felt like staying in a dream. If you're a fan of historic houses, this place is a must-visit. The garden is truly one of the most stunning I’ve ever seen—the view from the houses elevated location, totally breathtaking. Staying here felt like being part of something special, with the best hosts and the most extraordinary house I’ve ever experienced. Don’t hesitate—this is perfection!

Stunning and beautiful B&B with amazing views. Our very friendly hosts Barry & Angela made sure our stay was very comfortable. Breakfast everyday was a joy. We will recommend guests to get a car as the property is on a hill. Will definitely recommend to others and/or stay again!

It was such a beautiful house with great views. The bed and room was very comfortable and they were so lovely with lots of extras. Breakfast was an impressive spread, and it was lovely eating overlooking Christchurch. The hosts were lovely and very kind.

“Unplanned luxury discovery!”
The hosts Barry and Angela are exceptionally hospitable 'people' people! We were made to feel welcome even before stepping inside the beautiful home. Their stories entertained us during our entire stay. Our room was luxuriously decorated and prepared for comfort: a woman's touch was clearly evident! There were complimentary snacks and toiletries in the room and the bed was extremely comfortable. As an additional surprise, we were treated with a fabulous complimentary slice of chocolate torte and some other sweeties! The setting at the breakfast table was most impressive and inviting: there was no shortage of tastfully laid out tableware, serving dishes and lovely cutlery, not to mention the extensive bakery, jam and continental breakfast choices.
