Mr. John Allan was a wonderful host. He provided clear instructions for check in which made the process super easy and he kindly arranged an earlier check in for us. The house was clean ,tidy and had everything we needed. We didn't encounter any issues upon our stay and indeed we loved our stay at Mr. John's place. The location was really convenient and close to everything. The place is super comfortable, clean, peaceful and safe. Thank you so much and would highly recommend this place.

“Lovely cottage in a great location.”
We stayed in 10 different properties during a 3 week tour of the North and South islands. This was the most welcoming with a couple of lights and the TV left on. I had one query of the cottage manager by email and he replied very promptly. The cottage is really well equipped and the location could not be better.

“Cannot understand how others rated this property highly. Doesn’t make sense. Terrible experience. Unclean, run down. Sor”
Very Unfortunately we didn’t like anything about the property except its quiet location. We were so much looking forward to staying at this property as it’s advertised as beautiful with old world charm but sadly it was quite the opposite upon arrival and we booked for 2 nights and had no choice but to leave after the first night. It just was not up to cleanliness standard. Upon contacting John and explaining our reason for leaving he refunded our second night which was our request, and he was very obliging.

“Home away from home”
Home away from home with everything you could possibly need. Will definitely be back. Close to everything we were visiting and at the end of a cult de sac so very quiet apart from the occasional train that went past.h
