“Nice location close to Golden beach”

The location is amazing, 20 minutes from the bus station, 5-7 minutes to go to the beach, 3 minutes to Captain’s Rock hotel for the breakfast, some good restaurants and beach bars are around, quite and calm. The pool is a good option to spend some time in an evening hour or to start the morning, but there are only 3 sunbeds and not good umbrella. Christina and Catarina are amazing, very helpful, smile and ready to talk about everything and suggest you something. They both picked me from the bus stop. Nice breakfast. Maybe for some men who need a lot of food it could seem small, but for me it was enough: boiled eggs (or you can ask to cook eggs another way), fresh and tasty bread, ham, cheese, fresh vegetables, feta, olives, corn flakes, milk, lemonade, coffee, tea, fresh Greek yogurt, pancakes, jam, melon and even cactus that is growing near the hotel. As for me it was enough to be full to the evening.

Room was great with balcony overlooking pool and sea. Staff was amazing! Nice breakfast to start the day.

Christina was absolutely amazing and made my stay very comfortable! The pool is lovely and the beach isn’t too far of a walk away

“Pretty poor stay, wouldn’t stay here again”

Christina and her husband were so welcoming and friendly. They offered to pick me up from the bus stop and often gave me lifts to the bus stop (as it's roughly 30 minutes). This location is very close to the golden beach but I think this was the only positive for me.

The arrival at night was allready a bad first impression: -no lights or signs make the hotel difficult to find in the dark -there is almost no staff, with only Cristina there to receive all new arrivals, we had to wait almost half an hour. When we went to the room there were 2 single beds instead of the booked double bed. The furniture was from last century. The TV was very old and broken. The fridge was dirty to the point that there is mold in the rubbers. The shower and sink were rusted, no curtain for the shower. Generally there is a bad smell in the room and there were many insects. The garden view was more the view on a construction site and the outside seating we had ro clean ourselves. The lights in the room flickered and the towels are not to hotel standards. For 110 euros per night you would expect better. The following day we visited the pool and there we found full garbage bins and rats next to the pool. Again no staff at the hotel, just a direction to go to a different hotel for the breakfast. After a very uncomfortable night with hard beds and many insects in the room we decided to save our holiday by leaving for another hotel. At this hotel there were no insects in the room just this clearly the issue of Silver Rocks. Changing the room for a double bed would not solve the other issues, see the attached pictures.
