“Home away from home”

We spent a wonderful week in the beautiful adjacent country cottage (roubenka) at Hostinec Na Stodolci. It was our second visit in a row, as we love spending the post-Christmas period and New Year’s Eve there. This time, we were extremely lucky—the entire Chřibská area was covered in snow, a true winter wonderland, yet the roads were still safe for driving and day trips. We truly found a home away from home. If you are looking for total comfort and a cosy countryside atmosphere, this is the place to be. Our son loved the farm animals, playing with Ferdinand the cat, and sledging, while our hunting dog enjoyed long walks through the surrounding fields and forest. We especially loved the delicious, fresh breakfasts and the tasty, ever-changing dinner menu with daily specialties. On lazy days, we simply cooked in our roubenka chalet. Last but not least, what makes this stay truly exceptional—and the reason we returned for the second time—is the staff. The ladies working there are incredibly friendly and welcoming; nothing is too much trouble and no request is too big. Even during the busy Christmas and New Year period, when they are clearly working very hard, they are always up bright and early with smiles on their faces. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat in spectacular countryside, cosy accommodation, delicious home-cooked cuisine served with a friendly smile, and excellent value for money, look no further. “Home away from home”

We had a wonderful time in this pension right after Christmas. We were lucky enough to manage to book the cottage “roubenka” adjusting the main pension. It was so cosy, spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and when we didn’t want to cook we ate in the restaurant, 30 second walk in our slippers! The breakfast was outstanding, absolutely delicious and fresh but more than anything it was the staff who made our stay enjoyable. The ladies were very friendly, hardworking and always so helpful even when busy! There was always a free parking space available outside which we appreciated. Our son loved playing outside (there’s a lovely playground) and looking at the horses and goats. We had our hunting dog with us (massive bonus that dogs are welcome!) and enjoyed endless walks in the area, beautiful woods, fields at the back of the garden! Most of our time there we had frost/snow but it must be absolutely magical when it’s green and everything is blossoming. We’re hoping to come back one day!

This place is a gem!! Location, interior, the love to the detail, and the warm hospitality are much more than we could have hoped for. The food is great, mostly local/ part organic and low waste where possible (no plastic at the beautiful and tasty breakfast menu) Highly recommended!!!

This place is beautiful, excellent for relaxation. The breakfast definitely exceeded our expectations both in terms of food and the way it was served. It's been a long time since I met such nice staff. Wonderful people who run a wonderful agritourism.

This is quite simply the best hotel in my experience in terms of value. The location is gorgeous, and they have made the best of it, turning an old farmhouse and farm into a very charming, beautiful hotel. I feel very comfortable here. The people working here are kind, friendly, and generous. The beds are not too soft, which is often a problem for me in places like this, but just perfect after a day of good hiking . The food is magnificent.

Beautiful location, friendly owners and lovely staff. Relaxing, quiet at night, but some nights with included entertainment (which didn't bother those who didn't attend), all in all, a winning accomodation, we plan to return soon. Great breakfast and wonderful, goooood food in the restaurant!

Wonderful place, location away from big cities and loudy roads. On the spot you have very nice restaurant with selection of local dishes. Main part of the rooms, dining area, restaurant located in old, beautiful house. This place looks amazing! The rest of rooms located in wooden buildings remodeled to hold a few rooms with bathrooms. Around, there was a farm with goats and horses. Astonishing view on the village from the top of the hill. A few steps away nice café in the barn. Sadly it was open only once during our stay. Breakfast was really tasty withbgreat selection of food. Our dog received a welcome pack with a blanket, towel, dog bowls and a little something to chew :)

Beautiful place, there are many small charming details in surroundings thanks to which place looks more cosy. There is a lot of space, plants, flowers, animals, pretty views. Nice restaurant and coffeehouse, where you can eat tasty dinner after long day of wandering (they have the best wines too). Tasty breakfasts. The staff is kind. Room was very clean and cosy. This place is really dog-friendly. We love "Na stodolci".

Everything was fine, we enjoyed the dinner and the spacious apartment.

The location is great, quiet and close to all major attractions the area can offer. The food is very good ( we had breakfasts and diners - the pancakes at breakfast were super good and the rabbit with spinach at dinner was excellent). The people are very nice and calm and they try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The entire barn’s area has a good energy (at least it has for us) and every time we visit we feel wonderful here.
