The property is really beautiful. It is located in a quiet place, everything was clean, and the host was so friendly and helpful with all that we needed. The breakfast is really good and authentic! Me and my family really enjoyed our stay at Au Bonheur de Cisse and we truly recommend this property if you are looking for an authentic french housing.

Absolutely fabulous! We literally didn't want to leave this quiet, relaxing, beautiful place. Loved the swimming pool area to chill, after a busy day visiting the many lovely chateaus and towns in the surrounding area. Olivier is a great host and has thought of absolutely everything to make your stay perfect! It was so lovely to have the facilities available to be able to spend an evening in, with bread, cheese and wine, rather than having to dine out every evening. The bedroom was immaculately clean and comfortable and has air con which was a boon. A beautiful place to stay in a great location and I would highly recommend.

Our host was exceptional. Lovely pool and the room was great. The apricot jam with breakfast was delicious.

What a gem of a place! It was quaint, comfortable and equipped with everything that we needed. A very attentive host, lovely breakfast with home prepared food and a delightful quiet location. We had a swim in the pool which was very clean and just what was needed after a long drive. The room had air conditioning and automatic blinds, it just felt like the hosts had taken great care to provide a comfortable stay. We thoroughly recommend it!

This accommodation was absolutely perfect for us. Olivier was a wonderful host and so friendly and helpful. We are on a long distance walk with backpacks and when I messaged to explain that we would arrive early he kindly allowed us access to the garden and pool, and then our room on his return. He provided us with towels to use for the pool. Olivier and his wife have created a beautiful oasis for travellers. The room was spotless and even better than the photos. The bed was really comfortable with very nice linen. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of homemade produce. I absolutely recommend this place and hope we can return.

Good location. Owner friendly and helpful. He had good suggestions for where to eat and even booked the restaurant for us. Lots of information on what to do in the area. We were only there for 3 nights as a stopover from the south on the way home to the U.K.

We stayed here for 3 nights but wished we could have stayed much longer! This is a lovely property, a family home with a purpose built two storey house in the grounds with a lovely swimming pool. 1 apartment downstairs and 2 more upstairs. Very comfortable for families or couples. A lovely living area with sofa and two chairs and small kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Three single beds in one large bedroom that our boys used and the master bedroom was a great size with a huge comfortable bed and patio doors to a private decked area. The bathroom was massive with a lovely double sink area and large shower. The location of the property was excellent for visiting the nearby chateaux, we managed to visit 5 in two days! Our host Oliver was a lovely friendly chap who gave us lots of information on the local area, local restaurants and had plenty of stories to share with us! He made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was wonderful, Oliver asked each of us what we wanted on our arrival and each day our breakfast was delicious, everything was homemade including the many different and delicious jams and the brioche was amazing! If we are lucky enough to visit more chateaux in the future we would not hesitate to stay here again.

So lovely, our first night of 20 nights in France and it was just perfect. Great host, great location, Great pool, great breacckfast. Home made yoghurt best i've ever had. Jams lovely. The interesting thing about this property was that myself and my wife both chose it while we were looking for accommodation in Loire on separate computers. Great location in Loire.

“Lovely place to stay”

A very friendly and helpful host. The accommodation is comfortable and the use of the pool was much appreciated on a hot day. Nice modern bathroom with a very good and spacious shower. We enjoyed our stay.

“Beautiful hide out on the countryside”

Au Bonheur de Cisse is a nice hideaway close to the Loire river on the countryside. The rooms were recently refurbished and are nicely decorated. The bed is very comfy and we enjoyed the fresh air. The pool is clean and well maintained. The landlord is very helpful and can provide with good tips for activity or food. The breakfast was good with lots of fresh and homemade marmalades and brioches.

The little kitchen we could use to have a picnic and the open space in the barn All very new and clean, very confortable, set up with a lot of attention to make their guests happy Olivier is very kind and is full of recommandations.

The breakfast was amazing, the best I've had in a long time. The location was ideal along our route to the south of France. The owner Olivier was very welcoming and helpful, a terrific host!
