Location is perfect. Hospitality is really good: for instance we got picked up and dropped off from the ferry by their hotel van. The hotel is very pretty.

We loved the service and personal touches. Dimitris is a wonderful warm host who couldn’t do enough for us. We were picked up at the port and welcomed into the beautiful Polikandia Hotel. The hotel facilities are fantastic and we felt super comfortable and relaxed during our stay! We could have stayed longer ! Highly recommend this excellent hotel in Folegandros!

Dimitris. He thinks about things you might want before you do! Great location in the beautiful Chora. What I’d call a traditional Greek hotel. A lovely pool and facilities. Rooms contained all we needed and the breakfast set us up for the day.

True gem!!! Though officially 3 starred, its quality is topping some popular 4 starred hotels that I experienced during this stay at Folegandros. Wonderful Greek hospitality, complimentary beverages, even a small bottle of wine on arrival, nespresso machine in your room. Very nice breakfast, to be enjoyed at the pool, spolied by rich colours of Mediterranean plants, next to the heart of Chora and bus station to explore the island. Do not hesitate and stay here!

The host was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble! They offer free pick up from the port, a delicious breakfast and great barista coffees and towels to use poolside or to take to the beach. We loved our private courtyard together with sunbeds. Our views to the Church of Panagia were breathtaking.Each day we were given a little treat which was very much appreciated.

“Paradise found”

The location was perfect and the entire apartment area was enclosed with beautiful bourganvillia. The pool was very clean and very big for the greek islands. The staff were excellent and very helpful. We will be coming back

“Relaxing enjoyable stay in a beautiful hotel on the most gorgeous Greek island”

Dimitri and the team were very welcoming and accommodating, being collected from the port was really helpful and it only took 10mins to drive to the hotel. On arrival Dimitri upgraded our room from a double to a triple which was next to the pool and very handy for all the hotel facilities. The pool is a good size, there were plenty of loungers and towels were provided for both the pool and the beach. Our room was cleaned and towels changed daily.So glad to see a coffee machine and complimentary drinks and fruit were provided during our stay. We took advantage of the on site car hire, Dimitri made sure we knew which beaches to use and gave us a map of the area, he was very attentive and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a traditional Greek vibe, it’s situated in a quiet area but only 5mins walk to Chora, the perfect location. We will definitely be returning to this hotel.

The staff are excellent - you can tell it is family run. They will help you with any request. The location is superb. It's on the edge of town so both very quiet and also very convenient. Good parking for rental cars too. The pool is lovely as is the area around it with lots of quiet space for sun-beds and beautiful planting. Drinks served to your table too. The owners can organise very reasonable car rental.

Everything was exceptional. We stayed in room 28 for 1 week, and George was always around to help with anything we needed. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a wonderful pool, and just a few steps from the Chora, with all the shops and restaurants. We also hired a car for a few days which George arranged at a good price, with parking directly outside the hotel. If you are going to Folegandros, there is no reason to stay anywhere else. Perfect!

The hotel was excellent. The location was great - very close and easy walking distance to the cafes, shops and restaurants. The pool area was a very relaxing space surrounded by beautiful boeganvilleas. The whole complex was full of beautiful, colourful plants and everything was really well maintained. The host, Dimitri was very helpful and kind. The room was very comfortable with some nice homely touches. There was plenty of space to unpack and put things away. Good satellite TV. The bathroom was a good size. Our room had access to a spacious private terrace with seating which was lovely area to sit outside. The hotel provide a complimentary transport service to and from the port and will check with you as to your arrival time so they are there to meet you. Folegandros is a beautiful island and staying at Polikandia made it a perfect visit for us. I would definitely recommend and stay at this hotel again.
