The location, the views, the peace and quiet and the hospitality. Folegandros is the most beautiful unspoilt place we have been, and the setting up the hill gives incredible views of the island. Chora itself is a quintessentially greek village, and it is very real, the personal feelings you get from being somewhere like this can be overwhelming and for those living busy lives it's a major reset button. Thank you to our host, your hospitality made everything even more special, the kindness shown to us was humbling.

Amazing accommodation! Fab ocean views and views of the chora. Peaceful, access to the pool at the hotel next door. Free transfer to/from port. Loved our stay here!

We were picked up and dropped off at the port. The brothers that run the hotel are genuinely nice people.The older brother, I forget his name has a great sense of humour. The views are spectacular. The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day. We were sorry to leave. Will definitely go back.

The views from the property were breathtaking and it was refreshing to have a large room with updated bathrooms. Swimming pool was also superb. The owner was hospitable and also transferred us to & from the port. Just excellent service!

Great views of the sea and church both from the pool and our terrace and a short walk to Chora. There’s a very short steep hill up to the property hence the fab views. Worth it imo but not maybe not for everyone. Loved the pool.

“A great stay with amazing views and staff!”

Adonis and all other staff were very friendly and helpful. We were booked for 3 nights however due to ferry delays we ended up staying for 4 nights. The room was well equipped with good aircon, nicely renovated bathroom and a very small kitchenette. The view from room 1 was beautiful - sea views and the town of Chora! Easy little walk into town also.

Adonis and his team couldn’t have been more helpful. The rooms are spacious and situated in a perfect location, a few minutes walk into the town but just far enough out to get views of the town itself and also the sunset. Thank you!!

“Just Go There”

The sea view was superb and very relaxing.Very helpful staff and we had the use of a pool next door. Folegandros is a beautiful island and you'd be hard pushed to stay at better accommodation.

“Charming Stay at Belvedere Apartment – Folegandros”

I stayed at Belvedere for 5 days and 4 nights during my visit to Folegandros, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The apartment is situated slightly uphill, which could be a bit challenging for elderly travelers or those with mobility issues. However, as I was traveling alone, it wasn’t a problem for me. The walk is manageable and offers some lovely views. The apartment itself, while not modern or recently renovated, was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a highlight, equipped with a rain shower and strong water pressure. The space includes basic cooking amenities — utensils, plates, and cutlery — which is convenient for preparing simple meals. I also appreciated the daily cleaning service and fresh linens. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the hospitality. I arrived from Athens around 1:00 PM, and they kindly allowed me to check in early. On my departure day, they also let me check out at 2:30 PM to match my ferry scheduled to leave at 3:40 PM. A big thank you to Adonis, the owner, who personally picked me up from the port when I arrived and dropped me off again when I left. Location-wise, Belvedere is great. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the bus stop and also to Chora, the main town center where you’ll find restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies, and souvenir shops. Public transportation makes it easy to get to Agkali Beach, Ano Meria, and the port. Overall, Belvedere offers good value, genuine hospitality, and a convenient base for exploring Folegandros.

A magical place. We were in apartment 16 and the view was spectacular. As we are keen walkers and fit, the steep climb to the apartment wasn't a problem for us.
