Although this was not a disabled friendly hotel, the check-in staff found me a reasonably accessible room. The hotel was a short walk to many great restaurants.

“Get some new sunbeds !!”

It's in a perfect position with views of the beautiful church and Chora which is lovely with a great selection of bars and restaurants. Some lovely roof terrace areas. Breakfast was good, a bit repetitive but plenty of it and plenty of choice. It is in a room beneath the hotel but it's quite nice and not dark as others have described. We had a Superior Double room with pool view. Lovely big room. Over bath shower which wasn't particularly good and it's a high bath to climb into. Lovely pool area but ....... See what we didn't like !!

“Get the sun loungers sorted out!”

Lovely setting and easy walk into town. Drinks at pool bar are lovely, served by a caring barman. Great pool!

“Good but disappointing stay”

Overall not a bad experience although it was disappointing in some aspects. It was our third time in the island, we love visiting Folegandros and we think staying walking-distance to Chora is the best option. Staff was generally friendly but we would have appreciated a better management and proactive communication of the exceptional situation as our stay at the hotel was distorted by a sand storm.

Everything was perfect. Also the girl at the pool bar is very friendly and recommended us restaurants and Beach which help us a lot.

Very nice place close to main town. Easy access to beaches by bus and/or boat. By far the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. Wonderful pool and beautiful location and views of the island. Folegandros is now one of our favourite islands in Greece. Very beautiful and authentic.

“Decent hotel compromises with rigid policy”

The environment of the hotel is quiet and the room is spacious. The breakfast offered varied food. There is a shortcut brings us from the hotel to the Chora, it takes about a few minutes to reach there.

We had a beautiful stay here and absolutely loved it. The staff were so friendly and always smiling and willing to help. The breakfast was extensive with lots of options and has variety each morning. The room was spacious and comfortable. Close to the main town and it was within walking distance! Could not fault the hotel here, when we come back to the island we will definitely stay here!!

Loved it, just if you need internet access this might not be the place for you. Slow, and worked now and then. Otherwise fantastic. Had to go into Chora to get acceess.

We were met at the port and transported to Folegandros town as arranged via previous correspondence. However we were met by a manager who explained that we were the only guests at Aspalathras White Hotel and therefore would like to offer accommodation in a Poolside room at the Chora Resort Hotel at no additional cost. We initially accepted this offer (being polite English people) but in truth the substitute property though fine was dated and did not meet our expectations of the hotel we had booked. We feel we were ambushed and virtually presented with a fait accompli having only been told of this change of plan on arrival. As mentioned we had corresponded with the Hotel days prior to this, arranging arrival times and transfers and could have been informed of the issue well before arrival.
