“Aegeo Hotel: a Noteworthy Accommodation in Folegandros”

The lovely atmosphere, beautiful architecture, and kind hospitality by our gracious host, Vasilis. He gave us a rundown of the island and fun activites to do, including nearby coastal towns and beaches, and a wonderful seaside restaurant, Pasithea. There was ample accommodation for five people: three bedrooms for two couples and a solo traveler. At checkout, Vasilus made us some Turkish coffee during an island-wide power outage, which was a nice touch.

Everything is thoughtfully designed and very functional — from the outdoor deck chairs and table to the handy clothes rack, every detail made our stay more comfortable. The rooms themselves are spacious, spotless, and well laid out, offering a perfect balance of comfort and charm. The location couldn’t be better, just a few minutes’ walk from the heart of Chora, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality. Dimitri went above and beyond with his local tips, advice on weather conditions, and recommendations that made exploring the island so much easier. He is a true gentleman whose warmth and 5-star service set Aegeo Hotel apart. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Folegandros — this is exactly where you want to stay!

Aegeo hotel is set in a lovely courtyard. The room was clean and had every amenity needed. The host was incredibly helpful and gave great recommendations for food and touring. Although I didn’t use it, it was lovely that they offered port pick up and drop off.

Perfect location being only 2 minutes from the Chora. The rooms were in true Cycladic style with white-washed walls in a pretty setting. I stayed in room 7 which was perfect for me as single traveller. The owners were friendly and helpful and so I would have no problems in recommending this place.

The hotel was great. Very well located, the studio was big and had everything you needed. Super clean. Five minutes walk from the centre of the Chora village, where you have tons of cute little restaurants and shops. The hosts were very kind and thoughtful. The view from the terrace was amazing. We LOVED Folegandros and we can't wait to come back!

Beautiful hotel - just as charming as the photos and with a great view of the island. Located right by the centre in Chora (walking distance to market, restaurants and more) and less than a 10 minute drive to most of the island's beaches. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They picked us up and drove us back down to the port. The room has everything you need. They're very clean and everything works well. Would return here next time!

The owners were friendly and helpful. They picked us up and dropped back to the port and helped us get oriented. The hotel is very pleasant and clean, typical Cyclades white washed building, our room was large and comfortable. Location was excellent, just a few minutes walk to restaurants.

The hotel is well-kept and the room and bathroom are spotlessly clean. There is a very nice Greek family atmosphere, a lovely Cycladic vibe, and beautiful views.
