Great villa in a brilliant location, handy for restaurants and local beach. Plenty of space, well appointed and lovely pool. Good communication with the owners through booking and providing local information and transfers etc.

“Highly recommend this lovely house and location”
Beautiful house which lives up to the pictures. The location is great - a 5-10 mins walk to the beach but in a quiet area which felt very safe. The bedrooms are huge and the outside space is well-maintained and a pleasure to use. The pool is fantastic and we spent a lot of time lazing about the house, enjoying the view of the bay and the sunshine. There are lots of cafes and restaurants on the beach front, most very well priced. The sand is clean and soft, the sea is perfect for swimming and there are some resorts that offer loungers/pool facilities for a small day rate. In the evening there was plenty of live music and "fire shows" to entertain diners - but the vibe is very laid back and easy-going. There are a couple of small supermarkets within walking distance (10-15 mins) and it is very easy to get a cab to see the sights at a reasonable rate. We walked down to the nearby Sela resort which has a taxi stand and the wonderful Chewie was happy to connect with us on WhatsApp whenever we needed a ride. Chaweng - the city nearby - is big and noisy, but worth a visit for shopping, although we preferred the nearby Fisherman's Village for its night market and food stalls. From the house, you can walk to the temple complex and Buddha at Bangrak which are worth seeing (about 35 mins). We'd also recommend Dive Point Samui on the beach which offers great days out around the locale. We took our teenagers diving for the first time and Fiona and her team could not have been more helpful or reassuring. As you walk to the beach, you'll notice Mr Eung's restaurant at the side of the road - don't miss it, it is excellent.
