Overview
Casa Andina Standard Colca lies in Chivay at the edge of the Colca Valley. This secluded hotel features traditional stone houses. The hotel restaurant serves a variety of Peruvian cuisine and is supplied by its own vegetable garden. Casa Andina Standard Colca also benefits from a terrace with a fountain and a cosy lounge with a fireplace. Due to the altitude oxygen is available on request from the hotel reception. The rustic accommodation is simply furnished and comes equipped with a work desk and a heater for the Andean climate. Guests can enjoy the natural hot spring pools in Chivay or explore the Colca Canyon on a guided tour.

The best hotel we have been to so far in Peru. The staff was kind and welcoming. The rooms are spread as a small pictures village. A very comfortable bed to rest from day of travel. Breakfast served as early as 5:30 am to let you be ready in time to go early for a condors viewing trip. Highly recommend.

“pleasant surprise”
It's actually better in reality than in the pictures. Nice garden, comfortable little houses, kind and helpful staff, and a much better restaurant than expected. We had a good time here!

Nice hotel in Chivay, big room with heating. The garden is very nice. Too bad we stayed only one night.

The room is spacious and clean. There is an electric heater in the room, so it is pleasantly warm at night, which is very important, because it is very cold at night. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Varied breakfast from five in the morning. The city center is a few minutes walk away.

“Perfect place to stay when visiting Colca Valley”
The staff was exceptional helpful and accommodating. When the heating in my room wasn't working a staff member arrives quickly and fixed. The breakfast was delicious and the buffet offered a variety. I would definitely stay there again!
