I was asked to mark my booking as a “no show” on Booking.com so they could avoid paying commission. I wasn’t comfortable with that approach, but since I was new there, I didn’t react at the time. I also booked a safari through them, and unfortunately the guide they arranged couldn’t speak any English, which made the whole experience quite difficult to enjoy. On top of that, during the rain, water started coming in from under the closed window and flooded the floor of the room. Overall, this was the only disappointing part of an otherwise wonderful Nepal trip.

Really comfy and cosy space. Spacious tent felt very luxurious, comfy bed and hot shower. The restaurant on site was really nice for breakfast and dinner, and did some nice beers too! Our favourite was the veg Thali. The outside garden was nice to sit in the evening. Staff were really helpful and friendly.

• When I wanted to extend my stay for one more night but the hotel was fully booked, they helped me reserve another hotel nearby and assisted me in moving there. • Good location, close to restaurants and safari departure points. • Spacious and airy grounds. • Food is decent, but the coffee is very bad. • The room is old but still acceptable.

I had the most incredible dining experience at this restaurant.The food was absolutely delicious every dish was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations.The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable.I can't wait to come back and try more items from their menu.Definitely a new favorite spot
