“Peace and quiet in the heart of Chisinau.”

Park Lane Hotel was a really comfortable, cozy and well-located place to stay in Chișinău, and I’d happily stay there again. The standout feature for me was the location. Although Chișinău can feel busy and traffic-heavy, the area around the hotel is much quieter, greener and more peaceful. There are several nearby parks and public gardens, plus a good selection of restaurants within easy walking distance. The whole neighbourhood feels relaxed and pleasant, especially compared to some busier parts of the city. One of my favourite parts of the stay was the small public park opposite the hotel, which has a pizza restaurant in the middle of it. It’s a really cozy spot in both the daytime sunshine and the evening, and I’d strongly recommend anyone staying at the hotel gives it a try one night. The rooms themselves were very comfortable, with clean, modern and well-equipped bathrooms. The beds were excellent too. I often struggle to sleep in hotels, but here I slept properly every night without any issue, which is unusual for me and says a lot about how comfortable and quiet the hotel is. The staff were also consistently friendly, welcoming and helpful. Reception always seemed staffed, even overnight, and everyone we dealt with was polite and accommodating throughout our stay. Overall, it felt like excellent value for money and a really good base for exploring the city.

We got the bus from the airport, and its terminus is a short (about 20 minutes) walk to the hotel, so the location was great being so close to the city centre, and it's right by the beautiful Valea Morilor (lake/park) as well, so was nice to go for an early walk and burn off some of the breakfast calories. The breakfast was a bit of a feast, with about 7 different types of egg dish, cheeses, meats, fruit, bread, salads, hot stuff, cold stuff, it was great value for money. Room was fairly spacious with a good size bathroom. Staff were friendly throughout too!
