We had a wonderful stay at The House in Chishang. The location is excellent — just steps away from the rice fields, with breathtaking views from the room. The scenery is truly mesmerizing. It’s also within walking distance of Brown Boulevard, making it perfect for cycling and exploring the area. The property itself is charming — more like a cozy, well-designed apartment, thoughtfully planned. The staff do not really speak English, but we were able to communicate easily using Google Translate, which worked perfectly. Breakfast was lovely — unique, delicious, and clearly prepared with care. The only downside was that the pillows were quite hard and not very comfortable. Other than that, everything was perfect. Overall, a fantastic and memorable stay — highly recommended.

Loved the location, right in the rice fields, a taxi ride out of chishang station. Beautifully designed space like a small apartment, with the bedroom overlooking the rice paddies.. Thanks for the upgraded it was unexpected and a joy. The breakfast was delicious, one of my best to date. They also organised a cycle for me at a very reasonable price. All in all my best stay in Taiwan so far.

How Has is a charming little guesthouse located in one of the most beautiful places in Taiwan. Room was good, nothing special. Bathroom could have used a little upgrade. Breakfast was nice with plenty of fruit and the staff was friendly and helped us find a nice restaurant.

“Fun and quirky place, beautiful location”
Lovely idyllic location, and landscape around is very beautiful. Superbly presented breakfast, and access to water, tea, coffee in communal space. Decoration and music was very calming and relaxing.

“A slice of heavenly solitude”
The peace and serenity its location offered. The management respect privacy and offered help when necessary. For people who just want a little piece of solitude. Though the exterior is worn out but the accommodation is almost perfect.

“Highlight stay on my two week vacation touring all around Taiwan.”
The serenity was infectiously calming, and every aspect of my stay far exceeded my high expectations. Kaha, the host went well above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, helping with my electric bike (which went flat) and the breakfast topped off an amazing stay. I cannot rate highly / recommend this property enough - a definite 5 star experience. Thank you Kaha!
