The location of the homestay is close to the train station, the lake, the rice fields and a local night market, which makes it convienient. The bicycles are free and usable but not suitable for longer tours.

The homestay was well located, near the train station. I'm reviewing the place long after my stay so I don't remember all the details. The place was very clean. The person doing the check-in was very nice. I could also use a bicycle for free to spend the day biking in the nearby famous rice fields. I really enjoyed my stay in Chishang.

“Great small hostel with excellent staff”
Small hostel with welcoming common area. Lovely owner and manager. Manager had good English. Bikes free and in good condition. Good location in small town.

I stay in room 3A, 1000ntd. Cash only. Have window Clean Free bike at any time can used it Cold aircond plus extra fan Provide: sandal, toothbrush & toothpaste,hair dryer and tv in the room. Just 3min walks from station 3min bike to dapo pond & night market & lunchbox museum

The host was very friendly, helpful and available. The free bikes are a must to visit the area. We were also pleasantly surprise by the free coffee/tea and fruits. The room was perfect for 1 night with all we need inside.

“Simple, clean accommodation. No frills but does the job.”
A clean, simple room to stay the night in. The manager spoke excellent English. There was space inside to lock our bikes which was really helpful.

“Clean and friendly homestay”
The hostess is extremely kind, I could sense her welcoming aura as soon as I walked in. The location is also excellent, across from the supermarket, nearby the night market and the bento box museum, and only a couple minute walk from the pond. The rooms are simple and unadorned, but clean and comfortable.
