“Lovely rooms with fab pizza.”
Beautiful rooms with terrace area attached to the main house but you felt very separate. The bonus here is the pizza restaurant run by the couple at the entrance to the house. The pizzas are made in a wood fired oven and are fabulous. The restaurant is run by the couple who are very helpful, friendly, and efficient. We really appreciated the great food and service after having completed a busy season in catering ourselves. Breakfast was also very good and plentiful. Lovely walks for our dog on the doorstep also a bonus. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay.

Quaint and comfortable and use of a swimming pool potentially from May-Oct. Good stop for us with travelling quite a bit further South not taking us too much out of way . The landlady friendly and speaks a little English . Liked the pizza meal and a great breakfast . Nice shower the place clean

EVERYTHING WAS JUST PERFECT - Pool was just what needed after day walking - Room was full character bed was bit soft for me but perfect for my wife - Breakfast was amazing warm bread/croissants/Pain Chocolats/Cheese/Ham and bowl fresh fruits - WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

We stayed here for 1 night on the way back from Hossegor to Calais and it was a perfect spot to recharge and enjoy Chinon. Lovely accommodation, great host, and a fantastic breakfast. See you again next year!
