This ibis Styles hotel is located by the Vienne River, outside the medieval town of Chinon. Suitable for guests with reduced mobility, the hotel has a heated swimming pool and a terrace with views of Chinon Castle. We did a very late check-in (2am) and we're traveling with our toddler. They arranged it and received us with a smile even though it was that late. We had a nice cot for our child and ensured we could enjoy the breakfast even though we woke up late. Nice people are, usually, the best an accommodation can offer.

The two ladies who looked after us pm and am were lovely and helpful. Nice breakfast which was topped up as required. Good location for a trip to see Chinon and tbe area and to travel further south.

“Okay as was a one night stay over hotel has run down since new ownership from 2015.”
Loacation was okay as we had stayed previously in 2015 by Great Western Hotels not Ibis Styles, breakfast was good with lots of choice.

“Probably the best Ibis we have stayed in well located and providing a decent restaurant.”
The room was basic but met our needs. It was air conditioned and clean with a comfortable large bed. The breakfast was good. The restaurant exceeded our expectations, the food was excellent and staff very helpful. The hotel is well located being on the outskirts of the town with an easy level walk into the centre and lift to the Chateau. Free parking is available within the hotel grounds.

“A lovely short holiday in Chinon”
Great staff, a good location, a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. There was a lovely little swimming pool and very reasonably priced.
