Chinon is fabulous and this is the perfect place to stay! Right on the river with parking and a short walk into town. Breakfast was exceptional especially the wine tart!

We loved our stay at Gabriel. The location on the edge of this beautiful village and across from the Vienne. The egrets resting in the trees. This hotel has clearly been created with love and a great aesthetic sense. Manuel is such a gracious host and took time to explain all the interesting elements and to recommend seeing the beautiful cave which was created to build the fortress. A luxurious and very personal stay

The hotel was lovely. The hosts were friendly, helpful and gave us every consideration. The cat was even friendly!

The owners were very nice and always checking to make sure we had all that we needed. The breakfast included a selection of high quality products, the room was stylish and spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfy and I slept very well. I like that it is a small hotel so peaceful as there aren't lots of floors and other guests. It was a wonderful stay in a beautiful little town. There is only 1 floor and stairs are wide so very easy to access rooms with luggage.

Lovely small hotel, in a perfect location. We had a large, well furnished room overlooking the river with an extremely comfortable very large bed. The owner is very thoughtful and helpful, advising on places to eat and visit. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. The hotel is in a great location a minutes walk from the centre of the pretty town of Chinon.

Cute hotel run by a couple, located by the main quay in Chinon. Rooms were comfortable and looked newly renovated. Delicious breakfast with local produce. We had a shared outdoor terrace with 3 other rooms, but it was a pity that it was too warm during our stay to enjoy it.

Nice room - cool which was important because it was super hot. Friendly team who told us best places to visit in chinon and also where best to eat and drink. Great location on the river front and easy walk to old town (a bit more of a hike to fortress).
