Great location for touring the area. Very quiet. Private parking Charming Host Loved the half hour walk into Chinon along The Vienne. It suited our needs perfectly.

“Interesting locations good views”

Good location plenty of walks behind the property to view old French properties, vines and distant views mile and half walk to Chinon passing 2 wine caves. Good selection of restaurants in Chinon and interesting buildings including the chateau. this was our fourth visit and plan to go back next year.

Good accommodation in a lovely and peaceful setting. Very clean and well-equipped. Good outside eating area. A great base for touring the Loire Valley. 25 mins walk into the beautiful town of Chinon, or a few minutes' drive. Highly recommended!

“Good location but not suitable for two couples. .”

We were greeted warmly by the owners mother who went to some effort to put up an umbrella on the terrace. The upstairs area with two bedrooms and bathroom were very clean. The large kitchen table was lovely to sit around. The location was excellent for visiting Chinon.

“Great gite for Chinon”

This a large 2 bedroom Gite the lounge and kitchen are also large, a 30 minute walk (we are in our late 70's) to the centre of Chinon. There is an interesting collection of old buildings on the roads behind the Gite. This was our third visit to this Gite.

The apartment was perfect for 2 couples, the kitchen was very well equipped. It was great having 2 bathrooms. The location is good as long as you have a car. It was quiet. The host was very responsive with our questions

The location was excellent with off street parking. The facilities were clean, heating worked well ad the bed was comfortable. The host was very accommodating and made us feel very welcome.

The 2 bedroomed house, on 2 floors, was ideal for our 4 day stay near Chinon. It is very well equipped and spacious. Parking right outside the front door is convenient and secure. The recently refitted shower room is particularly good.

Breakfast was not included, self catering with excellent kitchen facilities. Two bathrooms upstairs and downstairs. Comfortable accommodation with garden furniture at side and front of house to catch the sun.

This was our second visit to this property. It is a large spacious property with a large Kitchen dinner separate lounge and 2 bed rooms. good on site parking with a lawn area with table and chairs for eating outside. barbecue provided.

A large, spacious property situated within a short walk from the lovely town of Chinon. Everything we needed was provided. It was great to be able to use the bikes; it is an exceptional area for cycling and visiting the many, magnificent chateaux in the area.

“Fantastic gite well located to tour the Loire.”

The Gite is located 2.5km from Chinon. Communication with Beniot, from initial booking to leaving was superb. On arrival we where made feel very welcome and shown the property. The gite is centrally located to visit alot of château and cities with Tours and Samur being within 1 hrs drive. The Gite is well equipped with everything needed for a family, right down to cool packs in the freezer. Benoît was on hand throughout our stay via messages always willing to help. We had access to bikes to suit 4 adults which where great for running in to Chinon. Ebike hire and Canoe hire are available in Chinon, the beautiful green path from Chinon to Richaleau is perfect for a family day out by bike, totally offroad. The highlight of our 2 weeks was Bastille day in Chinon, the morning market, parade and finally fireworks and light show. Simply Amazing.
