What's not to like about this place. The host was very pleasant charming and could not do enough for us. The room we had was on the top floor with a great view of the castle when sitting on the loo! The renovation the owner has done to this property was exceptional and to a high standard. When it came to the breakfast, well that was something else. Wish we had stayed longer. Would we stay here again ? Most definitely. The owner requested no photos be taken inside and posted on social media as he had some break ins.

It was a pleasure for us. All the way. Incredible host. Helpful, observant with thoughtful approach. Every breakfast had something handmade from him. The property was interesting, historic well managed. In total elevated experience.

Very homely feel, Maurice was great and extremely friendly. Location is excellent, close to the castle and some nice restaurants!

A beautiful property with a wonderful host. Maurice was so kind and thoughtful. Nothing was too much trouble, including helping me locate new dresses after they were left behind. The rooms had everything you could need. Very clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful time (remember Maurice, Tea Pot)

Everything was perfect. The building and our room were beautiful and luxurious with a castle view. The breakfast was copious and excellent. The location is perfect for the town. Parking was easy and bike storage provided. Our host was superb, friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. We would recommend staying here and look returning one day.

Maurice’s stunning house has been lovingly renovated and provides guests with every comfort. Our room was spacious yet cosy, with a huge, comfortable bed and a large, clean en-suite bathroom. There was an honesty fridge just outside the door containing wine and soft drinks as well as extra coffee pods for the Nespresso machine in the room. Breakfast was another level! Spoilt for choice with homemade quiche and cakes, fruit, yoghurt, croissants, scrambled eggs, sausages…delicious. Maurice was a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble. Can’t wait to visit again.

A truly wonderful gem of a place, Maurice is an absolutely wonderful welcoming host, always helpful. We have stayed many times, passing through with our pets. Within walking distance to the main square, a gorgeous courtyard, beautifully appointed bedrooms and downstairs areas.
