Overview
A 15-minute walk from Kurumayama Ski Resort, Sky Park Hotel offers spacious Western-style accommodations with Mount Yatsugatake views. Guests can use free Wi-Fi at the lobby and refresh in the indoor swimming pool and hot tub. A free shuttle is available from Kurumayama Kogen Bus Stop, which is also a 5-minute drive away and runs on a fixed schedule. The air-conditioned rooms feature a spacious seating area with a sofa and a flat-screen TV. Japanese Yukata robes are provided for all guests, and a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags are included as well. The en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer. Guests can relax in the public baths and sing at the karaoke rooms. A coin-launderette and drink vending machines are on-site. Local products can be purchased at the souvenir shop. A buffet is offered at Yoho and drinks are available at Rigi Lounge, which features mountain views. “A lovely place to stay to enjoy the mountains in Nagano.”
Situated at the top of Kuruma Mountain, this hotel is in a wonderful location. The room was spacious (relative to other Japanese hotels) and was well maintained. The wifi was in general excellent and the flat screen TV could connect to my PC (unlike many other Japanese hotels). Staff were courteous and friendly (I don't know if they speak English... they all chose to speak in Japanese to me).
