The hacienda is a perfect location for relaxing. It has such a wonderfully calm feel, the surroundings are stunning and the room was just wonderful. Jorge, Elene and Pilo are great hosts; nothing is too much. The coffee tour was super interesting.

“A must for relaxing coffee farm visit”

Everything! Jorge and his lovely sister, Pilo and Sebastián looked after us from the moment we arrived. Provided us with nice food and drinks, lots of delicious coffee, an excellent and informative tour of the farm and a comfortable spacious room with a good hot shower. And there’s a pool as well as lots of colourful birds. A totally relaxing place - one of our best stops on our travels around Colombia :)

“Perfect - don't hesitate to book!”

EVERYTHING! Jorge, his sister and nephew, Pilo and Santiago were wonderful. The room was brilliant, the finca itself was brilliant, and our coffee tour was brilliant - one of the highlights of our trip! They even have hummingbirds! Jorge was incredibly helpful in helping us get to the accommodation, and his nephew kindly dropped us at the bus stop when we couldn't get a taxi. Lovely family and team - wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

“Marvelous!”

This place is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, perfect for a few days of relaxation! I really loved how attentive the staff were, the food was amazing, and of course, the coffee was divine. The tour through the farm was super informative, teaching me all about coffee growing, the local plants, and the art of making the perfect espresso. I can’t recommend the tour enough! A huge thank you to Jorge, Pilo, and Santiago for everything.

“Fantastic experience”

Fantastic views, incredibly kind staff and super interesting coffee tour. Food was very good as well. We stayed in the suite which is very large and private, with a breathtaking view. Highly recommended.

“Fantastic stay for a family, immersed in nature in a first-grade coffee plantation”

We spend four nights with our 3 kids. We had a phenomenal stay. The property is run by Jorge who is very nice, welcoming and always available to help. The property is beautifully located in the middle of a 64 ha of coffee plantation. The view in the morning is stunning. You are completely immersed in nature, yet in a very safe and quiet environment. The breakfast and dinners are simple but good and typical of Colombia. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The property offers a detailed tour of the coffee plantation. The property is well located to local airports and attractions.

“We regret we did not spend long enough in Hacienda Guayabal. We will return to make up for that.”

Hacienda Guayabal welcomed us when we arrived pretty late and treated us very warmly. We had an odontological emergency that Jorge solved by making an urgent appointment with a trusted professional he knew of. We took the Coffee Tour to learn how little we knew about coffee. We also spent some hours watching hummingbirds.

The location is breathtaking. Especially when you walk up the hill trough the coffeplantation. For the service I would even give 6 stars if possible. Form the arrival to the minute we left we were warmly welcomed. The coffeetour was great we learnd a lot about coffee and how to prepare it properly. Thanks a lot Santiago. Juan helpt us with everthing we needed. Also many thanks. Our Waiter (sorry I don't remember the name) was extraordinary. Muy amable. Defenetly recomendable. We would come back every time. “Wonderful experience with super-hospitable hosts”

Wonderful location with excellent views on a working coffee hacienda, with excellent coffee tour. Lovely, caring and friendly owners and staff make the difference - truly hosting you (literally) in their home, and doing everything to make your stay a great experience. Overall very comfortable rooms, good bedding, functional bathrooms, unexpectedly wonderful towels & even bathroom amenities. Hacienda provides meals - fresh fruits from their garden and full hot breakfast, but also cooked simple, yet tasty lunches and dinners.

“A stunning location surrounded by nature.”

The Hacienda is in the most beautiful location, surrounded by coffee fields, mountains and in its own well-planted gardens. The birdlife is amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the meals were all delicious. A highlight was the coffee tour. We learnt so much about how coffee is produced and made. Our favourite place in 4 weeks in Colombia.

“The best stay ever”

The kindness of host. The lunch and dinner is great. The location is quiet and beautiful. It surrounds with the plants and birds, what a treat. The room is clean and the hot water is a big bonus.

Very interesting Coffee Tour, Guide spoke a very good english and was extremely knowledgable. Very nice setting in the hills. We had the bungalow which gave a lot of privacy and a lot of space.

“Excellent accommodation for coffee tour”

The room was very spacious and the bed huge, the personnel and the owners were super friendly and helpful The coffee tour is a must!!!!

We had a very warm welcome in the evening we arrived. The hosts are so sweet and help you with everything (even with buying tickets for the football game and where to park nearby the stadium :) ). The hotel itself is a little bit outside the town but that makes it even more good because you can totally enjoy the silence. In the morning hours you can hear all the birds that flying around. They also offer a coffee tour on their farm which is very interesting. You can pick the coffee beans for your own coffee. The rooms are big and clean. We also had dinner and breakfast which was very good and freshly cooked. Would definitely come back when in Colombia again. Had a really great stay there.

“Outstanding experience”

Stayed here for 2 nights. The hacienda is in a beautiful location, stunning views and lots of land for a walk to work off the fabulous food. Jorge and his family running the hotel and restaurant were very professional and the place was very well run. The food was great and the staff were very attentive and kind. Jorge helped us find transportation and worked with us every step of the way to make our stay very memorable. The coffee tour was fantastic. Santiago was a great guide and I will now fully appreciate all the work that goes into my coffee. He is excelente, the entire tour took aprox 3 hours, we did learn all about coffee ( production, washing, drying, threshing) finally it was grind, brew and taste a very fresh cup of coffee from Colombia I would fully recommend this hacienda to anyone wanting to visit the zona cafetera.

“Fantastic idyllic place. You will automatically relax and like the nice staff.”

The breakfast was fantastic! A fruit plate, arepa or bread with any kind of egg you could wish for, as well as freshly squeezed juice and coffee from the farm. The chef is the sweetest man, and really skilled at both cooking and presenting the food. He also remembers how you prefer your coffee and always serves it the way you like it best. In addition, he pays attention to you throughout the day and, for example, brings you water by the pool. Also the host helped us with a very flexible transportation from the property. The coffee tour was amazing and I will recommend it to everyone. You both get to pick coffee beans in the fields, see how the coffee is made, have a lecture on the history and science of coffee and have a coffee tasting with five different brewed coffees and a skilled guide.

“Loved it - a home from home.”

So peaceful!! I have lived in Colombia for 6 years and that was the quietest night ever! Beautiful gardens surrounding a colourful well maintained property. Room was spacious with great views from the large windows. Great bed and good shower. Great hosts - felt like I was visiting new friends. I travelled with my two dogs and they were made very welcome too!
