The cabin is set in the grounds of the owners. It is a spacious fully equipped clean cabin with a lovely veranda overlooking the valley. It is in a peaceful setting and you can explore the garden and get a beautiful view of the whole valley. The host is lovely and friendly and we used their laundry service which was excellent. It is a great base for doing hikes in the surrounding area. It is a bit remote so best to bring all your groceries with you. You would require a 4x4 to get to the property.

Beautiful, spacious and clean villa close to the Cloudbridge reserve. Exceptional customer service -- Swin was very friendly and responsivel! She provided plenty of helpful information prior to our stay. I would highly recommend staying in La Cima del Mundo!

“Such a perfect place”

The little house was perfect. Spacious and well equipped. The kitchen had everything that you could need and is the best we have experienced in Costa Rica. The location up the track in the mountains was fantastic. Sitting in the outside space being joined by parrots and hummingbirds was wonderful. Our hosts were the kindest and very welcoming.

The family is super kind and welcoming, the rooms are great and everything is clean. The hosts are always available for any questions. We really loved our stay - we spent three dreamlike days in this paradise-like place, surrounded by beautiful gardens and hummingbirds everywhere.

“Great location and place for a very good price with a very welcoming host”

It was a great place for us as a family to go on great hikes and stay in and cook and just enjoy the view. The host was wonderful and had gathered great tips on what to do in the neighborhood. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed and the terrace with the bbq was beautiful. Do not miss the mirador from the owners place.

Amazing hosts, comfortable bed, abundant of birds, nice trail through the jungle that starts at the doorstep, well equipped kitchen , if you like the nature it is the place to be. We have had an amazing time while staying at the property. There is an outdoor open fire ( the owners provide the wood and starters ) that will make your evenings very special. Thank you Swin and Jedy for creating this amazing place !!!!!

Very easy communication and friendly hosts. The sound of the wind through the trees and the cool temperatures were a perfect respite from the beach!

“Lovely spot in the mountains”

A very lovely place a few minutes from town, well worth the extra driving minutes for the great view and calm. We has the two bedroom house, everything was perfect. The French owners are very sweet and helpful for any questions. There were comments about difficult road access but it clearly has been improved since, we had a 4x4 but the road is a very easy matter at time of writing.

The cottage is very cosy with everything you need in the kitchen and comfortable beds. The location is really peaceful at the end of the road with amazing views and lots of birds in the garden. This really is the perfect place for those looking for peace and quiet in nature. The host helps you with plenty of suggestions what to do. Upon arrival we were so charmed by the cottage and the nearby surroundings that we decided to stay longer than planned.

“Paradise on top of the world”

This place is much more than a place to sleep. it's a destination to visit! The fabulous huge garden is a paradise for birds and the views of the mountains around make a great atmosphere. The apartment has natural characteristic that make the stay in it a very unique experience. Swin and Jedy are great hosts that made us feel at home. Their story about how they built the place is amazing.

Nice and fully equipped appartment in unique style. Large well maintained garden where we could watch birds. Very nice and helpful hosts! Quiet location uphill but still not too far from main road for having dinner in the village.
