Nice hotel and friendly staff. Breakfast okay, they could improve on the type of bread served. It was just a bit far from the centre of nuevo and old Chimbote, you need a taxi. Be aware that the price is in dollars but you are charged in nuevos soles at their exchange rate. Choose a room at the back for somewhere quiet, there are many noisy dogs and roosters in front of the hotel.

“Ok, if you don't mind rock hard pillows and mattresses.”
The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. It is in a nice neighborhood but too far from what I needed to do in Chimbote, therefore, I always feel that the location question is inappropriate in the booking reviews. One location is good for some and another not. The water was plenty hot! I did not eat the breakfast, but it smelled good.
