Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Best steak I had in a very long time. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Location is very good.

As the name implies this looks like a hotel with a 'grand' past but, it has become a bit shabby. The bedrooms needed a coat of paint and a refurb of the bathrooms and the public areas were similarly looking a bit tired. However, the bed itself was the most comfortable I have ever slept in! We found the area a bit threatening but the hotel did provide safe parking. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Location is great, it is right at the city centre. There are lots of things to do within 5 minutes walking distance (theatre, shopping malls, main square, the cathedral, museums, restaurants, etc.). The restaurant in the hotel has a great selection of local dishes (longanizas, pastries, etc.) as well international options (pasta, risotto, etc.). There is a coffee house with a great selection of cakes (freshly made) and "tablas" for sharing. I want to highlight the staff, they are quite friendly, in special Jovanna in the restaurant.

Needs maintenance and minor renewals, toilet seat with damaged paint, dirty tile joinings.

The staff was friendly and accomodating. This historic hotel was clean and well maintained. The view of the plaza was spectacular. Just what we'd hoped for.

This is an older hotel that has been renovated some time ago. It is located right in the middle of downtown. Breakfast is reasonable. The hotel offers off-site parking a block away in a commercial parking lot. A good alternative for spending a night or two on a road trip from Santiago to the south of Chile.
