“A warm and homely experience in a great location.”

Such a wonderful experience. Carlos and Carla are the most welcoming hosts ever. You feel like you are at home. The nature is amazing. We were literally half a meter away from humming birds feeding at Carlos’s bird feeder. We also saw many other birds, butterflies and frogs. The other highlight being the Toucans. Carla is a fabulous cook and we enjoyed a lovely meal, which included Carlos’s wine. I recommend staying here. We loved it.

We stayed here with my five year old son and had the best time. Beautiful place with very welcoming hosts and dogs! We did a cooking class with Carla and enjoyed Carlos’ asado. Both wonderful cooks who make incredible wine. They were very kind to my son.

“A very warm and welcoming home stay with fabulous food”

Very welcoming and friendly couple. We arrived late at 8 pm and Carla cooked us a wonderful dinner at short notice, washed down with a wonderful local red wine. The room was spotlessly clean and felt very homely. Breakfast was great and we appreciated the produce from their land. A little way out of turn, but no problem to get to if you have a car. Thank you Carla and Carlos!

We enjoyed a restful stay in this beautiful home. The farm is located at the base of the mountains and just outside the quaint village of Chicoana. Carla & Carlos were the most gracious hosts and wonderful people to meet. Thank you so much for this lovely experience you offer.

“Lovely and peaceful place in the countryside”

Very friendly and helpful hosts. It's a very special place, like visiting someone in their private home. We had dinner and breakfast at the longtable in the lovely combined sitting and dining room with the other guests - 3 couples of various nationalities. Very cosy. The homemade food - a 3 course dinner- was delicious and adjusted to our preferences. Not eating meat, we had a quinotto with mushrooms. The room and bathroom were spacious, and the bed comfortable. Beautiful garden with outdoors furniture and a swimmingpool. We can warmly recommend this place for stopover on the way between Salta/Purmamarca and Cafayate or Cachi. The nearby village Chicoana is very charming with several cafés and shops.

Amazing location in totally peaceful Finca with vineyards and loads of birds. Really lovely couple running the Finca. Amazing breakfast and dinner.

Our host was very welcoming and did his best to communicate with us and showed us around his beautiful farm and grounds. The homemade dinner was delicious. It was a nice break in our trip and refreshing experience to stay with the locals. Muchas gracias para todo :)

The host is so welcoming. And the house is really beautiful. They can cook you a really good diner and you ll be abble to try their wine. Highly recommended for a stop over.

“Fantastic place with great company”

This place is beyond amazing. The property is huge with lots of wine and other fruit. A walkway gives you the possibility to process the fantastic breakfast you get. The lady of the house seems to be a baking master. The whole place is warm, tidy and welcoming. Carlos the owner speaks good English and tells and explains things about wildlife and the farm. A really good guy with a great family. The friendly dogs were the attraction for our three year old daughter, as well as guinea pigs, horses and lots of birds. We really enjoyed our time there very much.

“Idyllic home stay”

Carlos and Carla are wonderful hosts and human beings. We felt privileged to stay in their rustic farmhouse home. We had a private room and bathroom overlooking their beautiful garden. The shared dining / lounge area was lovely.  We were due to move on but would happily have stayed much longer. Breakfast was excellent and one evening we had a restaurant quality meal prepared by Carla using locally produced ingredients. If we came back to Salta area we would definitely stay with them again.

“A wonderful family home experience - highly recommended!”

The most lovely family and we were made to feel so welcome in their charming home. Despite all of their preparations for Christmas and their daughter’s birthday asado, Carlos and Carla were very attentive hosts. We were treated to a tour of their land with vines, fruit, and all sorts of other produce. Carlos is so passionate about wildlife and nature - it was an uplifting experience.

Carlos and Carla are the best. wonderful food, excellent and thoughtful hospitality. very tranquilo and lovely garden. would definitely recommend and would come again.
