Management is super friendly and helpful. Location is walking distance to numerous restaurants and pretty much any shopping needs you might have. Working hot water in the shower. The street on which this place is located looks rough, but didn't strike me as being unsafe for walking around.

The hostel/hotel felt secure, but we probably wouldn't want to put it to the test. The staff were friendly enough and provided extra toiletries when we needed them. Wifi/internet/network was good in the room, and Netflix was available on the TV. The room was warm, but a decent fan was provided (a bit too noisy to have the large window open at night). The bedroom had a wall light over the bed in addition to 2 ceiling lights, but overall, the coverage was poor. The bathroom had an electric shower, so hot water at all times. Hooks were available in the bedroom for coats and bathroom for towels. A small cupboard available for storage, and a small table and chairs.

Secure parking nearby included in the price.

The hotel was clean and well equipped and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was well located, not far from the terminal and the squares with colectivos to nearby towns with attractions and museums, near shops and places to eat.

The place was OK staff friendly if you spoke Spanish

It's basic but clean and great value for the money. The guy at the reception was super nice and let us rest in a different room before they got our bigger room ready. He also stored our luggage for a few hours after check out. Not the newest looking, the halls and entrance look a bit scetchy but I think it's very good for Chiclayo standards. Netflix on TV is great since there's not much to do. Walking distance from Cruz del Sur bus station and cheap food options around. People in some reviews mentioned how the area is not nice but that's the whole town, haha, most streets are just dirt roads, we felt okay walking from our dinner after sunset although caution is always needed.

Excellent value for money for a private en-suite room here and ideal for a short stay in Chiclayo.

The owner are so nice people. They let me stay in an empty room the day of my departure until they called me a taxi to the bus terminal.
