Overview
This resort is located within the Mayan city of Chichen Itza, which can be reached through the property's private entrance. - Conversion rate scam (room is in USD but they charge in MX$ at their own rate) - Despite being extremely close to Chichen Itza and a direct walking path, you are being forced to take a 5mim car ride instead. Very misleading

“Historic hotel that needs a bit of work”
Great location for Chichen Itza in order to arrive there as soon as it opens. You need to drive or take a taxi as there is no private entrance- even though this is suggested. The grounds are beautiful, the food in the restaurant is good. The gift shop is lovely, the pool was nicer than expected.

“A very special place in the heart of Yukatan”
The property is located in the most glorious location, minutes away from Chichen Itza. The grounds and tropical gardens are second to none, with wonderful areas to explore within the estate. Everyone was polite and helpful but the person that made our stay truly special was Adrien, the manager. He took us around, spoke to us about the history of the property and gave us a very special tour of the Hacienda premises. Adrien also recommended a great private tour guide for Chichen Itza.

“It’s worth paying a little extra for this 5 star experience”
The gardens, fountains and pool are wonderful. The accomodation is squeaky clean and staff very professional and helpful. We had an excellent 5 star meal at the restaurant and breakfast was delicious.

“Charming stay in a beautiful old Hacienda on the doorstep of Chichen Itza”
Perfect location for visiting Chichen Itza in a beautiful old Hacienda with amazing gardens. It’s got a great pool and the rooms were lovely, maybe a little dated but perfectly comfortable. We really enjoyed the early morning birdwatching with Vincente. He was wonderful local Mayan farmer. The food was very good too but be aware of the portions. They were quite large. It was ideal for visiting Chichen Itza which we went to first thing in the morning to avoid the crowds. The staff were friendly although they were not very helpful about the entry in Chichen Itza itself. We also had a massage in the spa which was relaxing after a day travelling.

Wonderful setting, with beautiful main building. Large swimming pool, surrounded by jungle - very atmospheric. Only a few minutes from the Chichen Itza ruins, perfect for an early start.

“Nice pearl in the jungle”
Very nice and quiet place in a jungle, just 5 minutes drive from Chichen Itza. Beautiful park and big organic garden, where they get most of their fruits and veggies. Very friendly staff. Nice pool. Small private houses.

“Beautiful surroundings, great pool, good food”
Very good location to visit Chichen Itza, beautiful surroundings, great pool, good food. It was very quiet and we were only two couples in the whole hotel as it was off season. The food is good and the employees were friendly (we were there off season). The cook agreeed to prepare glutenfree pancakes with gf flour I brought, which was great.

“historical hacienda surrounded by nature”
The hacienda is beaufifully embedded in old forest/jungle, well maintained. The bungalows are modern and well equipped. The food was great, however priced at the higher end of range. The Pool was huge, one of the biggest on our roundtrip and also nicely surrounded by the trees.
