Everything was great from the villa/lodge itself to the staff who couldn’t do enough. Accommodation was spacious, clean and a pleasure to stay in with great surroundings. Food in the restaurant was good and the service excellent (especially the young man who served us with excellent English).

“Great eco retreat”
We liked the arrangement of the cabanas with the great green spaces in-between. The WiFi was strong, the staff were congenial and the rooms were immaculate. It is a good place to stay for visiting Calakmul and we would happily stay here again. We see some complaints earlier on this forum about the restaurant prices but they were completely in line with prices at similarly good sit-down restaurants.

Good place as a base to visit Calakmul and other Maya sites (recommend Becan - it was deserted when we were there and nicely excavated). Good restaurant for regional and european food.

“Perfect stop for Calakmul visit”
Great stop on our way to Calakmul. For that purpose the perfect stop. The hotel is really fine, quick check in, very clean room, nice pool and we also had a very decent dinner with a friendly service. We read some reviews that were less positive, but our experience was really good!

The room is big, confortable and clean, surrounded by the nature. Staff is vero kind and gave us some suggestion on our visit to Calakmul
