Great location, nearby opera house, next door to Cadillac center. Conveniently get to and from airport via the Blue line. Luxurious ambient and decor. Comfortable bed. Free brewed coffee. Great breakfast.

“NEVER AGAIN”

I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience at Royal Sonesta. They charged me twice for the daily fee of $32—over a 6-day stay, they billed me $192 twice, effectively "double-charging" me. Despite multiple requests, they refused to provide an invoice during check-in, and I still haven't received it days later. The staff at checkout was incredibly rude and dismissive. When I explained that I had already paid the daily charges, they became irritated and disrespectful, showing a complete lack of professionalism. Additionally, they held a $500 deposit without informing me during the booking process, and despite my multiple inquiries, I have yet to see that amount refunded. Most frustrating of all is that I have not received any refund for the duplicated charges or the deposit after several days. Their billing practices are shady, and their customer service is terrible. I would strongly advise against staying here due to the unprofessional staff, poor transparency, and failure to resolve billing issues. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

it is not first time i stay in this Hotel, i love deco architecture of the building and sizes of public spaces plus spaces of room, within 10-15 min walk you can achive most important actraction location of city. expecially summer time, so nice to walk by river near by.
