“Stay in the heart of Chicago”
The location of the place was amazing. We also had very nice view out of the window and comfy bed. In general the stay was nice and room seemed clean. Plenty of things available, along with the swimming pool, which is really nice! Hotel is easy to get to and well connected to public transport. Close to a lot of places worth seeing too.

“Too expensive”
It seemed clear that the hotel was being used for emergency housing. The food dining area was very unclean. Our toilet overflowed all over the bathroom floor and it was 3 hours before it was cleaned up. I paid in full through Booking.com before my stay but was still charged a ‘bond’ of $374NZD and 3 weeks later, I am still waiting for this to be returned to me even though I was told it would be 5-7 days. I Do not recommend this hotel!

“Hilton Standards slipping”
Decent sized room and bathroom. Having breakfast included was a huge plus. Breakfast varied slightly each day, cheese omelettes to frittatas to egg white omelette with bacon or sausages. All the continental style breakfast trimmings included eg toast, cereal, yoghurt

“Very pleasant stay with a beautiful view, close to the lake and park”
My recent stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton in the South Loop area of Chicago was very enjoyable. The hotel has a great location — close to downtown, the park, and the lakefront, where you can walk and enjoy views of the city. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. I got a room on the 17th floor with a beautiful city view, and in the morning I could see the sunrise over Lake Michigan — truly memorable! The staff was friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the young woman who checked me in late on August 18 — she was very kind, cheerful, and welcoming. The pool is small, but warm and perfect for relaxing after a long day.
