o had the best time, staff wee and i g so tentative everything i needed i can not wait to come back again when in Chicago it was fab to be outside the city & only just over an hour walk which was lovely waking along the lake side & beaches i goto see so much more doing this x visited local bars one particular was HUNTERS super lovely staff and just a little walk down the road , went to a Baseball Game which was a quick trip down the road then hit a pls e called Sluggers where we tried our hand at some swings , lovely local park with nice places to picnic & lush cafes , great deep dish liza’s , stunning sunsets on the pier, i did do the 360 tour which was cool for pics, then the speedboat tour that was fun too. public transport it easy although i walked alot , beaches are cool clean and relaxing

I stayed a few nights in downtown at HI and a few nights here. This was the better hostel - the location was nicer and the hostel had more atmosphere and better bathrooms and facilities. Staff were better too.

The neighbourhood was peaceful and quiet, the reception, common areas, and kitchen were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was basic but a good start to the day. Good value for the money.

“Excellant Hostel in leavy area”

Awesome hostel in a green leafy suburb, near to everything. A stations on the metro 400 metres away,, buses, etc. All city attractions easily accessible. It was clean and a nice breakfast. Bathrooms were fine. Staff were good and keen to be helpful.

It was a good hostel in general

I was verbally assausted by a recepcionist in this hostel. I asked for a small favor, I think I didnt explain myself very well and the guy started to yell and call me names. And mock me for my accent. I filed a police report and I tried to bring this to the manager múltiple times but had no answer. I would still like the hostel to reach out with an apologie. The man in question is a tall man with hair at the lenght on his eyes and ears, a little facial hair around the lips, tall , handsome man, brownish/yellowish hair, was on duty may 20th afternoon.

5-8 min walk away from Fullerton station. Good bus connections to downtown Chicago. Breakfast was included with our room, waffles, toast, yoghurt, cereal, tea and coffee and its own cooking facilities.

It was in a very good location and like 7-8 mins wall to the nearest metro and bus stops. Breakfast was included with the stay and it was ok with the price. The staff was friendly and answered all questions. We were able to park two hours more than our time slot. They even provided me with a hairdryer when I asked.

We booked a double room with shared bath and private toilet. The room was very very cold and dirty. The heater/radiator didn’t work and the aircondition didn’t have a heating option. We were only given a thin sheet to sleep with - which was so used/worn out that is was see through. The ‘double’ bed was very small and very short - only 180cm long. The bed was also extremely squeaky and uncomfortable. The faucet next to the bed kept dripping and couldn’t be turned off properly. The ‘breakfast’ was very sparse. Toast with butter and jam, some dry waffles (pre-packed) and sugary cereals.
