Located within a 5-minute walking distance from JR Kaihinmakuhari Train Station, Hotel New Otani Makuhari offers guests the luxury of choosing from 10 restaurants to dine at and a variety of outdoor and indoor activities. The hotel is situated just next to the Makuhari Messe and the Tokyo Disney Resort is a 20-minute train ride away. “Absolute steal in a beautiful seaside area of Chiba”
The hotel was in a really beautiful part of Chiba Prefecture, only a 30 minute train journey from Tokyo Station and about an hour from both Shibuya and Ikebukuro. The rooms were small but comfortable, and the staff were some of the kindest I ever met!

“Excellent stay and I will use this hotel when I am back to Chiba for my business trip.”
There is a good spread of breakfast, and it is delicious. The ground staffs are all very friendly and helpful. Location is ideal, cross a bridge to the convention hall and it is near to the train station with plenty of food choices and an outlet mall is next to it. AEON is within walking distance.

Staff were very friendly and attentive. There is a very affordable airport bus that stops by the hotel every few hours. Super convenient. Room was very spacious and had everything I could possibly have needed

“Great luxurious hotel exceeds expectation for a Makuhari Messe exhibition stay”
I had an exhibition to attend in the Makuhari Messe. This hotel has a walking bridge (covered!) directly to that venue, so that was a no-brainer. My coworkers and business relations stayed in hotels next door or behind (APA, Francs). The New Otani is not only closer but it is more quiet than the APA and has far better facilities than Francs. The breakfast is amazing, the service is great, the halls and the restaurant are spacey and beautiful. Room was super quiet, I stayed at the 10th floor and had a view on Makuhari, the ocean and Mount Fuji.

“Great when doing business at Makuhari Messe”
I booked the Superior Double Room, which was very spacious, had a great bathroom and wonderful views. The curtains can be closed electrically while sitting on the bed. The bed was very comfortable with great pillows. The room had a desk to work on with a view. The hotel has direct access to Makuhari Messe, which was important to us. Great breakfast and friendly staff all around.
