The hotel is easy to find and on a busy street with a well serviced bus line. The rooms seem to be refreshed but feel outdated - bathroom is a wet style. The breakfast was good and there was variety of food (local and continental).

I had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unlike some other places on my journey through Taiwan, communication with the hotel and payment for the night were efficient and trouble-free. I could sleep well, the bed was comfy.

Value for money

A great hotel. It has seen better years for sure but it was still comfortable and convenient for a base for the lantern festival, as the shuttle buses departed a short walk away from the hotel. Breakfast staff was extraordinary but the sortiment was a bit odd for our taste. But still good quality.

The room in itself is simple, just what you need to spend a comfortable stay. What really made me appreciate that hotel is the kindness of the whole staff. Even if I don't speak Mandarin, they answered all my questions and helped me whenever I needed it. Also the quality + quantity of the breakfast, great way to start the day. The late check-out is enjoyable too. Last but not least, the overall vibe of the building. You can feel it's an old establishment which has been renovated to fit the modern society needs. I love that atmosphere, but that's just my personal taste. Oh and you are next to a central bus stop to go to Alishan. That's super convenient. And the Wagyu restaurant just in front is an absolute banger.

“An excellent accomodation choice for a stay in Chiayi City.”

Staff were immediately helpful. We’re travelling on bicycles and they showed us where we could safely leave them. The room was very comfortable. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The location suited us - close to the market.

Good location. 20mins walk from railway station. Lots of places to eat closeby. Breakfast is limited to Taiwanese food. Could do with an extra pillow. Okay for short stay.
