Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The front desk staff were very kind and allowed me to check in early. Although the room has an older-style interior, all the facilities are complete and very clean, including a desk, chairs, wardrobe, and refrigerator. There is a water dispenser in the hallway providing both hot and cold water. The location is also very good, within walking distance to the train station.

“We found a home in Chiayi”
I love the staff, very friendly and polite. We really got this homey feeling. Very close to the chiayi train station, very near to a vegetarian resto too. The hotel is a little old but but our stay was ver comfortable.

“Nice old town to stay one day before go to Alishan”

A decent place to stay in the centre of the city. Very convenient location, close to the train station and the bus for Alishan (if that's where you're heading the next morning).

“Perfect location for a short stay to commute up Alishan”
The location is really awesome and it's an underrated hotel for a short stay. Despite smell of smoke in the room when you turn off the AC, everything has been great esp. the auntie at the counter who is extremely helpful!

“Good value for money but take care of insect bites”
The hotel has an excellent location very close to the train station and in walking distance to the night market. Our room was big and, although a bit old, had everything that we needed. Air conditioning worked well. You could get free hot and cold water.
