“Great location near the train station – good value for money”
We stayed two nights at Chiayi Crown Hotel while visiting Alishan Forest, and the location is excellent. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from the main train station, which makes it very convenient for onward travel. The hotel is also quite central, so you can easily explore parts of the city from there. Overall, we found it to be very good value for money.

Hotel is in a great location - very close to the bus and railway stations: ideal if you want to catch the morning bus to Alishan.

Near the train station. There's free breakfast. There's elevator. Lobby was spacious. They allowed us to leave our luggage in lobby after check out. Complete amneties.

It's an inexpensive hotel so the expectations are based on the price point. The first time I stayed was in 705, which was a little tired but functional. The second time was 605, which was really dilapidated. The light in the bathroom didn't work. It was amazing value for 705, but just ok value for 605.

“Good cheap stop off hotel in Chiayi”
Very near railway station, with bus to Alishan Forest park , access to affordable restaurants. Friendly reception staff.

“Reasonable price”
Price was reasonable for the type of room provided. Staff was so kind and hospitable. The room was quite spacious, toilet is clean but old. Mattress was very hard, but overall was nice stay for one night
