“Little oasis in the city centre”

The best place I stayed in Chang Rai.. friendly and welcoming staff, absolutely beautiful room and pond view, fantastic home cooked food, brilliant wild birdlife, and beautiful pet dogs, birds, and absolutely beautiful 4 pet cats. I highly recommend this place for a little oasis in the city Centre.

“Nice rooms looking over a pond.”

Nice place to stay for 4 nights. Staff were friendly, room had everything we needed. Location was close to shops and restaurants. Nice choice of breakfasts

“A little piece of paradise”

It felt like a little paradise! The lovely staff made us feel so at home. Everyone is so kind, including the animals. We were taken care of so warmly and had everything we needed. We would have happily stayed longer!

Very Nice environnement , the owner is so helpful . Room big and confortable clean and it is so pleasant to have a coffee in the morning overviewing the pound.

Pros- - Beautiful location and views on a large lily pad pond. It was incredibly relaxing staying here - huge wonderful room with a comfortable bed - Good AC and great bathroom - beautiful balcony overlooking the pond - delicious breakfasts and very cheap delicious lunch/ dinner. We highly recommend eating dinner here one night it was amazing! - incredibly warm and friendly staff and lots of friendly dogs! - location slightly out of the centre but bolt is very easy to drive you in and the owner is helpful in arranging tours etc

Saikaew Resort was amazing from the moment I got there TIL I left! They are so warm and welcoming. When I read the reviews before hand I wasn’t sure what to expect but my expectations were exceeded as I had a beautiful magnificent room with a beautiful view. The owner carried my bags to my room. Their lovely pets are so so cute and kind. Thankyou so much for a lovely stay !

“An absolute gem. Stunning grounds peaceful location but near to town centre”

Everything. Great location beautiful surroundings, very clean. New towels every day. Very helpful owner who spoke very good English. We loved it here.

Friendly and extremely helpful staff. So many animals to interact with. Location is great to catch grab. Foods and drinks available.

Best stay in Thailand. The place is so wholesome- there's only a few rooms and the place is surrounded by a beautiful pond full of water lilies. As soon as you step inside you immediately feel like you entered a cute little haven. We had a fantastic room with the loveliest balcony overlooking the pond area. The owners are really sweet and kind and a bonus was being greeted by the cutest dogs and cats every single day. Free coffee and toast station which you can make use of whenever you want. There's a self service laundry area which was super convenient and we could make use of free bicycles which made going around Chiang Rai so easy. We can't wait to be back in Chiang Rai and in Saikaew :)

“Peaceful, beautiful setting and genuine hospitality”

Wonderful people, peaceful & beautiful setting on a pond full of lotus & lillys. Also enjoyed the owners cute dogs.

Amazing place to stay. Super peaceful, tranquil and comfortable. Great local area. 20 mins stroll to markets. Rooms are boutique quality - loved staying here.

“Peaceful stay”

The balcony on the lily pond was beautiful and very peaceful. Very friendly owner with equally friendly pets. Quiet part, slightly away from the town but very easy to get a taxi/grab.

Nice Apartment with view on the lake. We extend for one more night and couldn't stay longer because it was fully booked. Everything clean and with scooter or grab not far from city center.

“Utterly incredible - over too soon”

The food was amazing, the rooms and the view of the pond were fantastic, great facilities in the room and a good amount of space. Owners were lovely, friendly and accommodating. They are animal lovers and I loved that. They have done everything perfectly so you can eat well - at a great price - and can book your next trip/transport etc. You can even feed the fish. A wonderful place. We wish we had been here longer.
