Run by a very kind, adorable family. We felt very looked after the whole time we were there. Well located to get to Phu Chi Fah, as the homestay is on the road which goes to the alternative (quieter) trail starting point.

The room is quite small and simple, but it has a balcony with incredible views of the mountain. For us this was more than enough for an accommodation in the mountains. The host is one of the sweetest hosts we’ve ever experienced. She was very helpful and welcoming. Both breakfast and dinner were home cooked by our host and they were very tasty and filling. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay again if we go back to the area.

“Great for a w/e getaway”

Our host was one if the nicest people I have met in 10yrs travelling here. Just lovely. The room was a litte small, but very cosy and the gas hot water was excellent. The bed was so comfortable. Breakfast and dinner was supplied and our hosts asked what we would like.

Great location. Short (but pretty tough) walk up to the viewpoint at the top - although would be a 5 minute ride/drive. The hostess was fantastic. Room was clean with a lovely view. Food was excellent

Great location for a hike or ride to get to Puh Chi Fah. The rooms are very basic, but comfortable. The hosts are very friendly. The view up from Puh Chi Fah is just stunning.

The elderly couple that run this small guest house are delightful. We underestimated how long it would take us to get to Phu Chi Fa ( give yourself plenty of time) and didn't get into the area until gone 9pm in the dark. As you book here half board due to the lack of surrounding facilities, we were very pleased to be greeted with a warm welcome and a lovely hot meal with great food selection and plenty of it and cold beers available for an additional cost. The rooms are basic but very clean and we found our bed exceptionally comfortable. They have family rooms with two large double beds and 1 single room with a double bed. All with their own shower room and toilet. WiFi worked well. The breakfast was good, eggs, sausage, toast, jam, tea & coffee. It is a great location for the viewpoint only a 5 minute drive.

Very friendly husband and wife team and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Huge feast cooked up on our first night. Transport was arranged for sunrise in the morning and breakfast was waiting for us on return. Great place, mountain huts so expect going back to basics. Language a bit of a barrier but Google translate to the rescue. Highly recommended

Beautiful location, very clean and cosy bungalow with bathroom, excellent host services, hosts were the most friendly couple ever, made us feel so welcome and made us a great dinner and breakfast, and even drove us up to the mountain viewpoint. The balcony had incredible views, and the room had great amenities. We genuinely felt sad to leave here.
