With north Thailand's hills and mountains as a backdrop, HomestayChiangrai offers relaxing stays in Lanna style accommodation. The units come with wood furnishing, air-condition, minibar, safety-box, and private bathroom with shower facilities, while selected rooms include a terrace or balcony with mountain views. You can relaxing in our tropical garden with swimming-pool, or have a Thai massage. The open-air restaurant serves a variety of Thai and Western dishes. Light snacks and refreshing drinks are available at the bar. Guest can rent bicycles and scooter-bikes to explore the beautiful surroundings. Travel and sightseeing bookings can be made at the on-site tour desk. HomestayChiangrai is 6 km from Chiangrai city centre and 17 km from Chiang Rai international airport. Tourist attractions as the White Temple is 15 km, and the blue Temple is just 12 km.

“Beautiful location and a warm welcome”
A warm welcome on arrival, and such a beautiful setting. The pool is perfect with a trampoline and swings just beside it for children to play on. We booked a half day to visit the main temples in the area with a wonderful taxi driver (Pom). The location is a bit out of the way with regards to the centre of Chiang Rai, which is not a problem for visiting all the main temples, and a quick ride into Chiang Rai.

Very nice welcome , we felt as if we were in the family. The hotel had a wonderful garden, with a nice swimming pool. The room was big, well equipped with a terrace on the garden . The diner and breakfast were good.

Definitely the best! My 5th time around thailand, don’t know how many places I have stayed at, Homestay is my number one! Even better than the fancy riverside resort in town! Beautiful garden, beautifully decorated room with everything you need, no less equipment than in a 5 star hotel! Friendly atmosphere and excellent service! Very good food prepared by the adorable lady of the house… Very good value for money, I HIGHLY recommend!

From the start we received the warmest of welcomes from the owner Phaetey who gave us banana shakes with orchid flowers. She is full of joy and life and is very funny. She is a great observer of human behaviour and we really enjoyed her company. The pool and garden are beautiful and the quality of the food is excellent. The location just of town made it so peaceful and relaxing. It's also easy to get into town and the Mae Fah Luang Art and Culture Park is a 40 minute stroll away if you like a gentle walk.

“The gardens surrounding the pool area are delightful and a wonderful haven to sit and relax in.”
The property is located 15mins outside of the busy centre and only a small taxi fee to get there from the bus station. Great value for money with comfortable clean beds. The breakfast wasn’t included in the price but only a small extra price. Would highly recommend.

Patti, who runs homestay is a wonderful human being and superstar. She made this stay the best you could wish for. Beautiful garden and pool. Many of the staff are patti's friendly cats who like to play reception. The food is gorgeous. I had the red curry 3 times. Nicely located to visit white and blue temples plus the big buddha. Patti took us to the black museum and market which was great but also go with her to visit a monk in local temple. This is special service though if you kind and a great guest. Forever grateful 🙏

“Perfect to me”
This Homestay is a very cozy place 15 minutes away from the coty center. My room was big, the bed was comfortable and it will be cleaned every day if you wish for. The Pool is big and nice for a swim and the garden is just a beautiful place to view and relax. The owners are also very nice people and they always take theyr time to have a chat with you or help you with whatever you would like to know or whatever tour you would like to go. I never gave a 10 before but here i really have to say i felt like home. Thank you and i hope i can come back to your place in the future again🙂 Greetings Michael
