The room was quiet, clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the temple over the road. It’s a short drive from the center but right next to the huge mall which has a great food court. Most of all the host was very sweet and kind, she really went out of her way to make our stay so enjoyable. Thanks!

Rung is a wonderful hostess, full of thoughtful touches and discretion. She introduced me to delicious local dishes for breakfast. At lunchtime, she recommended typical local dishes from the north! The place is a haven of peace. The terrace with a view of the small temple is very nice. I highly recommend it!

We hadn’t left a review for our trip yet, but this place left us no choice. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly — she brought us tea and coffee several times, provided us with a list of things to do in Chiang Rai, and was always available to answer our questions and requests. The room was great, and the bed was the best we’ve had so far. If I had known beforehand, I would have booked more nights in Chiang Rai and definitely more nights at Chean-Chean House. Loved there bed and the staff. Very nice and helpful landlord there giving us good recommendations about things to do in the surroundings. The view from the room was a not bad either. There was a temple just opposite the street. Very quiet at night. The main road nearby was very convenient. You could eat very delicious food just a short walk away from the property.

Extraordinary hospitality and the owner’s great involvement. The room was clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities, such as a fridge and a hairdryer. The owner was very helpful and happily shared tips on what to see and where to go. I highly recommend this place. Peaceful and quiet, you can truly feel at home here. Thank you!

Everything was absolutely fantastic. The room was beautiful and spotless, the bed very comfortable, everything perfectly clean and well maintained. The balcony was lovely too. But the real highlight was the owner — incredibly kind, helpful, and always available. She even offered me a scooter for free, recommended great trips, and prepared an amazing breakfast. As a solo traveller, I felt very well taken care of. For the price, this place is a true gem. Highly recommended!

The woman who ran the place (I think her name is Rung) was really lovely and couldn’t do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She served us fresh fruit in the morning and made sure we had everything we needed. The whole place is spotless, the rooms are super comfortable and it is located in a quiet street, so no noise.

From the moment we arrive we felt at home. Rung, the host is the most caring person I have met. She was attentive, always getting fresh fruit for us to eat. The house is super clean and has a lovely swimming pool. There is a very big a modern Mall within 5 minutes walk.

“Kind host, clean stay”

Rung was so lovely and attentive, even getting up at 4am to see us off before we got the slow boat (which we did try to say was unnecessary)! The room was large and AC very good, we had a fridge and the WiFi was good, the bathroom was also large and everything was very clean.

Lung is a wonderful host with pation for what she does. Everything is to high standard and she was always happyto help. It may not be right in the centre, but definately worth a small taxi fee to get from and to into Chiang Rai city centre. Small shops, restaurants and local market available close by, too.
