Very friendly and helpful staff. Checked in late at night a day early, and it was no inconvenience. Breakfasts were delicious, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. Lovely garden area also

“A quiet, comfortable and modern homestay with friendly hosts in central Chiang Mai”

We initially only booked for one night, but having found lots to do in Chiang Rai, decided to stay for two. The quiet, spacious and comfortable room we enjoyed at Baan Jaru definitely contributed to this decision. It's a great place to stay in central Chiang Rai. The homestay is a 10 minute walk from the central bus station and clocktower areas of Chiang Rai. This means there are plenty of food and drink options nearby. Our lovely host - Tony(?), sorry for bad spelling - gave us a map on arrival with several recommendations in the local area and further afield which were all great. The facilities at the homestay were great. Room was light, spacious and modern with a nice seating area at the front. The breakfast buffet was fresh, healthy and tasty, and we enjoyed the freshly made eggs that accompanied it.

All perfect. Staff really helpful, explained everything to do everything around in a very nice way. Very confortable as well - bed, pillows, etc. Would repeat if come back to Chiang Rai !!

Fantastic value for money and in a great location. Five minutes from the wonderful clock tower. Near to lots of restaurants/bars/laundry/scooter hire. Set in a quiet street with a nice garden. Lovely breakfast options. Spacious room and bathroom. Great location for exploring Chiang Rai. Although you are in the middle of a city it feels like being in a small rural town. No hassle walking around in the evening. Great night market too.

“Unforgettable stay”

ALL staffs are amazingly kind and friendly. The room was so clean, and hot shower. At the check-in, he instructed me the place to go and showed me some tours. I wanted to custom my own half day trip tour instead of those, then he kindly helped me to conduct the plan and how to explain to the grab driver.

The location for exploring the city is excellent. The room was very spacious with comfort beds, seating area, fridge and tea/coffee making facility. There is also seating outside on a balcony for relaxing, with great plants all around. We were given a very warm welcome and lots of useful information about the area. All the staff were friendly. Breakfast was good and included in the price. The accomodation is good value for money and we would recommend.
