I had a great stay at this hostel! The WiFi was strong and never had a problem with video calls, making it easy to stay connected, and the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. One of the highlights was the dinner (I only had breakfast a few times)—lots of variety and delicious food (some options for vegetarians). I was lucky to get a room close to the main building, which was very convenient. However, I was a bit surprised that I had to stay at a different hostel on the 1st night due to overbooking (it was closer to the center). Despite that, I still enjoyed my time here and would recommend it!

I loved staying at Like Home! It is so easy, you just need to go with the flow and if some confusion happens with the room- just speak to the owner and you might get yourself a really sweet deal. She has rooms in different location, so you might not stay exactly where you planned but she has motorbikes so that you can move freely. Another grate plus is the social vibe of the place, amazing and kind stuff, delicious food included in the price (breakfast and dinner!) and laundry service. Best place in Thailand

Beware don't get scammed !!! this location always shows there are rooms available but as it happened to me and also according to other people in the reviews, people are taken to different places, in my case a much cheaper and horrible one, and we were still charged the same amount as shown on the booking website, we were charged 790 bhat for a room that unfortunately only after we checked out, we checked and found out it was for less than 360 bhat, but as it was late and my boyfriend wasn't feeling well and we were exhausted we just went with it. Unfortunately as bad as the room was, the worst mattress I ever had to sleep on, felt all the broken strings on there and the hardest pillow that we only put to the side, a sort of dirty towel was supposed to be a blanket and the blocked sink, he was still feeling unwell and couldn't get up the next morning, and I, too tired and didn't think much unfortunately reserved another night on the booking website instead of checking the rate of the actual property I was at staying at, but when I went to reception the old lady who doesn't speak much English was asking me for the first night's charge when I already paid one of the owners apparently British volunteer the night before and she couldn't understand what I was saying so we called the owner, but then told her that there's no way that the room I received was at this price, and I paid the rate which was a bit cheaper on that day but still not the price of actual property I was at but the one shown on booking, so it up to 650 a night each.

This is the best value for money in Chiang Mai! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, the room was nice and you get breakfast and dinner (spectacular!!!) included. Everyone is welcome there, no matter what kind of travelling you are doing. Additionally, you can rent motorbikes and they can do your laundry as well. This place really is Like Home and has the best hostess there is!

Noi is so friendly and helpful. I stayed in a slightly different location to where I thought however I was given a motorbike to use so that was extremely nice of her. The included breakfast and dinner was also extremely nice and great for socialising. The room was great and has everything you need.

Great Place to meet new people and feel like at home. The location Is good, very closed to the old Town. The owner, Nuy, is a woman with such a great heart. All her staff was so nice, the food amazing, I really suggest this place if you are in the city. Room pretty simple but with everything you need.

Just wanted to comment to those of you who is booking this guesthouse because of the location that she might be sending you to other building which is more than 1km away from the original location. It worked out for us because we could drive the motorbike she provided us for free. However we met a gentleman who had a problem with his back and couldn’t drive the bike she provided. I felt really bad for him that he didn’t have any choice but to walk everyday just to eat. (Around our building there was nothing to eat.) If you’re active like us and don’t mind to be sent to other locations little far from the center, this is a place to be! Nui tries her best to help you even if she’s got million things to do. Without her hospitality this place probably won’t work and you won’t get anything with this price in Chang Mai.

“Hotel overbooked, bad experience”

Volunteers were kind, and it seemed like a social hotel, if that’s your vibe.

The location and hotel was not what booked. The location was 2km away from the area we wanted to be. Furthermore the room we book was supposed to have a balcony and the one we were downgraded didn’t have it. The room was dirty and the bathroom sink didn’t work.

All basic things you can ask for in a hostel were there. Amazing staff, great location, and authentic food options. The host Nuy is simply the best host/owner I have met. She is always ready to help out and helped arrange an odd-time tuktuk for our flight. We took a double room, so not sure about individual beds.
