This place feels more like a lovely homestay than a standard hotel. The atmosphere is warm, peaceful, and very comfortable. The hostess is absolutely wonderful — kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. She makes every guest feel at home. The welcome fruit was such a thoughtful touch, and the breakfast was excellent — fresh, delicious, and prepared with care. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the overall experience felt personal and heartfelt. If you are looking for a cozy place with real hospitality, this is it. I would definitely come back.

The owner is the loveliest lady ever. Greeted us with mango and sticky rice, gave recommendations and sent us off on our way with a gift of socks. Brilliant breakfast. Great for the airport but still easy to get to the old town by Grab

The place was amazing so cosy and well accommodating. Lovely family run business Noi was soooo amazing honestly one of the nicest lady’s ever I will miss her now I’m gone. She constantly made sure I was ok offering me complimentary snacks and meal on arrival. She even gave me a lift to a meeting point for a zipline trip I went on! Honestly cannot recommend this place anymore and will definitely come back here next time I stay in chiang mai!

“Lovely quiet hotel near the airport”

I had a lovely stay at the De Rose hotel! The people were really friendly and Noy really goes out of her way to make you feel happy and comfortable. In fact, there is also a lot to do around the hotel, such as the Real Old City, the one that was built before the old city, but flooded all the time. There is quite a lot still there and you can cycle to take a horse drawn cart with someone who will explain the story to you. There is also a really cool temple within walking distance. Noy showed me around both and this was really interesting as there was a kind of festival on. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was considering it is really close tot he airport. I am a very difficult sleeper, easily disturbed by noise, but I slept very well. All in all a super hotel!

Just outside the city but still close to everything. Grab or your motorbike can bring you everywhere. Everything 20 minutes away.

Great location around 10 minutes from the Old Town, but much more relaxing. Hotel manager and staff provided a brilliant service and hospitality. Overall, great value for money and welcoming place to stay in Chiang Mai!

Everything was amazing. The hospitality was truly exceptional — the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We were offered fresh fruits picked directly from the plants, which was such a lovely touch, and we also received a charming little souvenir at the end of our stay.

The boss gave her best to make the client comfortable and feel at home.

The staff are incredibly sweet, and I felt so safe here as a solo female traveller. They gave me so much food, and always offered to help me out with anything. I never felt like a guest at some hotel. Really really appreciate this stay and will be definitely returning. Yes its a little far but places are still accessible with grab. it was wonderful for a little getaway and huge thanks to Noy for being so so sweet and kind. Im gonna miss the mango sticky rice and the khao soi haha!

“Great stay at de rose hotel”

Very soft nice beds, the lady at the reception is so amazing and sweet. She gave me mango sticky rice when I arrived and all the toiletries I could ever need. When I was late for breakfast she offered to still make me some food. She ordered me a taxi, gave me recommendations and a present when I left. If I'm ever in Chiang Mai I would definitely come back.

This place is such a wonderful place! With amazing people running it! They really made us feel at home. And the next time we are in chiang mai we know exactly where we will be staying

The staff was so nice and helpful and gave recommendations of what to do around the area, I also got free snacks and fruit upon arrival and during my whole stay. The room was very clean and the facilities were beautiful!

The breakfast was incredible I was treated like a returning friend and was really comfortable there Noy went out of her way to make the experience special

We had a wonderful time at De Rose Hotel. Noy and her staff have been so kind and helpful throughout our stay. The food was amazing, the rooms clean and comfortable and the location is only a 15-minute drive away from the city center as well as the airport!

The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, in a very quiet and peaceful area, just 10 minutes from the Chiang Mai Old Town. Right next door, there’s an excellent restaurant with live music. The hotel is a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area—Noi has plenty of great ideas for trips and recommended lots of amazing places to visit. We highly recommend it!

De Rose Hotel sits in a quiet backstreet, a short and cheap taxi ride from Chiang Mai's iconic old town - about 15 mins. It is quaint and absolutely lovely in the morning sun. The owners take good care of the property, there is an apparent pride in the place. Noi, the manager, is an incredibly welcoming and warm-hearted person. I stayed here for 1 month and every interaction with her brightened my day a bit while I was going through a tough time. The neighbourhood is authentic - plenty of "true thailand" to be observed. Turn left out of the hotel and go all the way to the end of the alley to find Chada Restaurant - a very relaxing place to sit in the sun and drink a beer, with some solid food options with a large menu to choose from. it's nothing short of an ideal place to spend a resting day without going too far from the hotel. Can't recommend it enough - it really felt like home. I love chiang mai and I'll be back many times, I'll always be staying at De Rose Hotel. P.S. Noi can cook!!! Try her amazing, cheap breakfast... it'll just make sure you're hungry because the food just keeps on coming.
