Breakfast is in a "cafe" opposite the hotel. Being a Thai holiday town there aren't any Western dishes on offer, however the Vietnamese egg dish was excellent. Our second morning was a Sunday and we had to queue for Breakfast but the queueing was well organised so not a long wait. Parking is in the grounds of the temple across the road. Both days we parked up mid afternoon when there was plenty of space. I did notice it was absolutely full in the evening. Our room was at the rear of the hotel with a spectacular view of the Mekong and Laos on the opposite bank. Very helpful staff.

“Chiang khan”
A welcoming and friendly hotel, with a lovely clean room and a beautiful terrace overlooking the Mekong. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. Delicious Thai breakfast. The location is on the walking street, where you can visit shops, restaurants, and the monks' ceremony in the morning. Shuttle taxi service to Loei airport. I recommend the hotel to everyone!

“Perfect spot to enjoy in the weekend”
The location is stunning and perfect with a view over the river. At the end or start of walking street. At the start of the night market allong the river. We had a blast and slept like a baby, nice hot shower and perfect breakfast across the street with all you need.

“Would definitely stay here again”
You can not get a better riverside location. Car parking was easily found close by. Very friendly owners and staff. The only downside is the stairs, which are steep and challenging. That said, help was given with our bags and cases. I would definitely stay here again.
