“Welcoming homestay outside of Chiang Dao”

Thong is a lovely host! We highly recommend her homestay. We had a nice double room and enjoyed talking with her. We had breakfast and dinner at her place every day of our stay for a reasonable price and it was always great and abondant. We also rented a scooter from her to get to the city center and to discover the surroundings.

Thong and her family are very welcoming and you feel like part of the family almost instantly. Looks of peace and quiet.

We had a fantastic stay with Thong. The lady who runs the accomodation is very caring, has a lot of stories to tell, is a great cook and an amazing host. The homestay is in a quiet area in nature close to the hot spring. Our room was perfect, nothing to complain about.

This is an amazing hostel! The location near the hotsprings is great, the host is amazing and offers a lot of activities. There was breakfast and the vibe was really good too :D

Very pleasant place to stay. Accommodation simple and clean. Kind and helpful owner. Possibility to rent a bike or scooter. Dinner simple but tasty. Not far from the accommodation there are hot springs for refreshment and relaxation. I enjoyed my stay.

Perfect place to explore Chiang Dao, or relax and hang out. Thong is an amazing host, she took us on great trips in the car, and is always super helpful and accommodating. Rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were also great, it was a very chill and social family atmosphere with great company. There is a nice cafe you can walk to if you are hungry or want a coffee during the day and the surrounding area is peaceful and beautiful.

“Perfect ! 😄😄😄”

Everything was perfect! I can't say more ! After Chiang Mai, I was exhausted and needed a break. This place was perfect for that purpose ! Thong is like a mama. She will make sure you get everything you need. You will get some very good thai food you'll eat in the way local people eat it ! (e.g. Bamboo sticky rice) Regarding activities, she took us in her car to go to a hot spring, to a sticky waterfall, and to a huge local market. And of course, if you want to do things on your own, she gives really good advise ! One last point, I stayed 5 nights, and I met many lovely people ! The vibe in this guesthouse was so nice. I will definitely come back to this guesthouse when I get back to Thailand !

Thong is the most amazing host. The dorm room is basic, but has everything you need. You can get dinner and breakfast for an additional fee.

Lovely host. Tong is the best! Breakfast so beautiful and tasty. She also has a fruitshake in shambhala. Amazingggg

Tong was exceptional, her and her family were incredibly welcoming and made us feel like we were in our home away from home. She is the kindest woman we have met on our travels and we cannot recommend her home enough. She will go out of her way to keep you feeling like part of the family. Everyone who comes has a similar mindset of getting out of the big cities and experiencing what it is to be with locals, so the vibe of the place is great. Like most people that go to Tong's home, we kept on extending because we genuinely didn't want to leave. The location is fantastic with local hot springs close by, and a view of the mountain which will take your breath away. Thank you so much Tong!

The Homestay is exactly what you want; simple but very nice/ comfortable/ clean rooms. The thing we enjoyed most was the atmosphere and company - Tong is an incredible host and cook who will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and to organise day trips/ hikes/ activities you’re interested in. And the setting is in the valley of some amazing mountains.

Thong is amazing, always kind and caring. The dormitory is so cool, quiet and comfy. The diner food is amazing. If you want to try a local experience , this is the place to be, to have a quiet time and meet beautiful people. Thank you for everything 💜✨🙏🏻

“Wonderful stay at Thong”

Thong is an amazing host and speaks very good english! The food the family made was amazing and can definitely recommend spending 100 baht for dinner. Don't expect luxury, but a wonderful place in nature with a welcoming family. We also had a bbq with Thong and other guests. There is no AC in the dorm rooms, but the it cools down at night, so it's comfortable. The area is best explored on a motorbike, possibly a bicycle.
