Our host was helpful, engaging and informative. The accommodation is rustic and wonderful. Being able to use the lounge the garden and dinning room was great and made the stay even more enjoyable. Spacious room, with an exceptional new bathroom. Lots of downstairs space to relax in. Lovely views of garden, stream, wildlife. Everything clean, well organised, thoughtful for guests comfort.

Absolutely charming B&B on countryside with lovely host. There were only two rooms in total so very calm. Big rustique modern style and very clean room with own bath/WC. Gorgeous breakfast. Outside parking by house.

Highly recommended. Quiet peaceful location on edge of a delightful village. Village has excellent restaurants and bar. Hotel has many facilities and is very welcoming and friendly. Good breakfast.large comfortable room and ensuite.

This is a beautiful property on the edge of a small village. The owners were super helpful and welcoming but not overpowering. The room was furnished to a high standard: everything had been considered. Breakfast was served in the garden and the croissants were delicious - we later found out were homemade which left us speechless!! Will definitely return as there’s plenty to visit in the area. Would highly recommend.

La Barbotiere is located in a charming village that has a small supermarket and a restaurant, it is a lovely place to walk around in the evening. Our hosts were extremely helpful, providing local information and maps. The weather turned and it was rather cold while we were staying at La Barbotiere so we were thrilled to be able to sit in front of a roaring fire on our return from a day discovering Auxerre and Chablis.

The hotel is more a B&B: an old farm transformed in a lovely separate spacious place adjacent to the main house. Beautiful gardens. Very kind owner who takes his time to have a chat with you. He is very helpful with information about outings and reataurants in the neighbourhood.
