Breakfast was very good. Room and bed comfortable. Hosts very accommodating and spoke both English & French (A lovely Anglo-French couple). Was planning to stay there on the return journey but illness prevented that.

it is a very well maintained beautiful old house with a lot lovely details. Very clean. Our rooms are spacious and cozy, beds very comfortable. It is just beside the road but rooms are facing the garden and really quiet. We were most warmly welcomed by the hosts who speak best English during our whole tour in France .We could take our dinner(from a nearby bakery) and breakfast in the beautiful wintergarden. The hosts have prepared everything we needed. Parking right before the door beside the road. We would recommand it to everybody. Many thanks to Claude and Christine for everything.The children also enjoyed the stay so much.

“Perfect B&B hosts”

Christine & Claude {the hosts} went above and beyond what we expected. They could not have helped enough! Claude even visited the local hairdresser with me and acted as my translator! Breakfast was local croissants and home made yogurt, granola and jams 💕And a decent cup of tea! They offered advice on local places to visit - St Emilion and Aubeterre-sur-Dronne are a must visit! Highly recommend!

we received a lovely greeting from Chrisitne and Claude, they then found us a table at a local restaurant and when we returned they joined us for a glass of wine and lovely evening chatting in the conservatory. after a lovely breakfast we left feeling like we had spend the night with old friends, such was the warm hospitality!! the only shame was we had to rush off, I would have happily stayed for a few nights!

This is a beautiful period French house that has been sympathetically renovated. The bedroom was clean and spacious with a modern en suite shower room. Claude and Christine are an Anglo- French couple who made us feel very welcome. We joined them at the village fete, which was great fun! We arrived on e-bikes and there was a big secure garage where we could park them and charge the batteries overnight. There are shops and cafe/restaurant in the village in walking distance of the house. The couple very kindly provided a gluten free breakfast, which we had requested in advance. The homemade yoghurt and jams were delicious!

Claude and Christine were most welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed for a lovely overnight stay. The accommodation was very comfortable, and our room had a nice view over the garden. Breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed learning more about Chevanceaux, which would be a perfect base for a few days

Beautiful town house on three floors with large orangery where we ate a picnic supper we had brought with us. Our spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean room was at the top of the house. Stylish bathroom with a large shower. Lovely breakfast of homemade jams, croissants and bread was served in the orangery. Our bicycles were securely stored in the hosts' garage.
